Positive section of review
Our shuttle coming in was delayed by 6hrs and because of this we didn't get into Leon till 2:30am. We kept our communication with the hostal and they were so accommodating making sure there was someone there to let us in. We appreciate this so much. Thankyou. We were so happy to wake up the next morning to a beautiful common space with hammocks, and a pool for relief from the hot temperatures. Our 8yr old daughter loved the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

As budget travellers, we really need access to a kitchen. This was the only thing.

We loved our cute little loft room! It was basic but had everything we needed along with some great spaces to relax in hammocks during the hot days. The staff were friendly, welcoming and the tour of the hostal was great when we checked in. We really enjoyed our stay.

super social hostel, lovely staff and a great loction! loved the daily volleyball at 5pm and the other things the hostel offered! dorms are nice, with a mosquito net and fan for each bed.

kitchen stove is very old and doesn‘t work very well. the toilets could be cleaned more often.

Our booking showed confirmed a light filled poolside room, instead we got an upstairs room more similar to an attic space with a tiny window and little light. We were shown to our room with no instructions on wifi, breakfast times etc. Girl didn't seem to care. There were at least four lights that weren't working in our room along with a leaking shower that wet all our bags. Staff didn't seem overly bothered. Walls were dirty, sheets had cigarette burns in them. Wifi didn't work in our room, after enquiring about the incorrect password we were told 'sorry, isn't possible'. Again, staff didn't really care. This was disappointing as we saw such great reviews for this place and were looking forward to staying here.

We had to leave a day early because there were bats outside of our tree house. They were so noisy and we thought they were coming in. Also, the groundskeeper was sweeping right outside our room at 4 am and shinning a head light right into our window.
