We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom flat for our first night in San Juan, arriving from Madrid . The location is right in the center of San Juan, right next to a well known ice cream shop. The location is very secure, with police at the concern 24-7 to ensure security of the governmental palace at the end of the street. There is a kitchen, many appliances that we did not use and a huge fridge but no bottled water provided in rooms or kitchen. Coffee machine provided but not even a coffee kit .

The property had a terrible moldy smell in both bedrooms and generally in the whole flat. Upon opening the wardrobe doors in both rooms we noticed some damp and mold on the walls which where probably the cause of the smell. We had to leave all the flat windows (no windows in the bedroom) opened and the doors too to reduce the odour which subsided a little. I also sadly left some clothes in the flat including a pair of jeans with some cash in the pockets but they said they found it… i at least wanted the clothes to travel back but despite many msg, they said the clothes (4 pieces) had not been found…

The location of the apartment is great. It is walking distance of Isla Verde Beach, about 5 minutes. There’s also a good variety of restaurants and stores near by (Tavo Bell, Burger King, a pharmacy etc.)The Apartment was overall very clean. The apartment offers a personal one space parking next to the building. My family enjoyed the pool!

We stayed 5 nights and would have liked to have room service, mainly for the trash and restock on toiletries.

Host allowed us to check in early. Very nicely laid out, with excellent kitchen and living room areas. Very close to El Yunque National Forest. An AC unit in each bedroom kept them nice and cool. Nice view of the neighborhood from the wrap-around balcony. Good restaurants close by.

There are fans in the living room and kitchen nook, but they don't really cool the areas down much. Not at all a complaint, but customers should be aware that they'll have to climb quite a few stairs to reach the second floor, where the living quarters are.

This bed and breakfast was amazing. The place was clean, and confortable. John is a great host!!! The breakfast was very good too. We never been in this area of Rincón, an we like it very much. It was our favorite place now.

Good AC. Plenty of tableware. Nice fridge. Good lighting. Bed a bit soft, but quite comfortable. We didn't use them, but everything is there for grilling on the patio.

A toaster would have been nice. Bedroom was too small for the bed, which was wedged next to wall. Odd odor coming from bathroom.
