We have just returned from a 4 nights stay at Casa Carolina . The accommodation is perfectly positioned for touring the city, most of which can be undertaken by walking but also make sure to use the tram during your stay at least once! We booked one of the suites on the top floor, which was a light, airy open plan suite incorporating bathroom, kitchenette and a spacious living space with a lovely south facing balcony. All the staff were excellent and very helpful – couldn’t fault them. Breakfast was downstairs in a lovely little informal dining room (adjacent to the lovely back garden) and again, Isabelle on breakfast duty was always helpful and willing to cook eggs to order in addition to the wide range of fresh foods available – everything you could want really. We would definitely stay in this accommodation again (ideally in the same room) and would recommend it without hesitation to others.

We had the most comfortable stay in a beautiful, quiet location. Everything was perfect and the hosts were really lovely and helpful (thank you for the home-grown lemons, delicious!!). The house was really charming and equipped with everything you need for a peaceful holiday, plus there is a shop, cafe and a restaurant in the village. There was a beautiful small beach a very short walking distance from the house, and the coast views were spectacular. We will definitely be back, we simply loved the place!

Clean rooms with private bathrooms and comfy beds - every pilgrim's dream :) In the common area on the floor they have hot and cool water, coffee machine, microwave and tables. The staff is very friendly and helpful. On the ground floor there's a cafe that works from 7am. Also there's a great Chinese Restaurant nearby, highly recommended! Thanks, it was a great stay!

The hotel is near the railway station and you can hear a little noise. But if you're tired enough it won't bother you :)

This is a magnificent property, looks like it's rich in history and well maintained. Everything is orderly and clean. The bedding was better than average, very comfortable. The pool area was lovely, clean and very quiet.

Because the main building is very spacious and there's no central heating, our room on the second floor was quite cool - it was a chilly, rainy evening outside. We had extra blankets with us so were comfortable but it wouldn't have been great without that. The check-in instructions came immediately before time to check in. That's understandable so people don't go in early, but I would have appreciated a message to let us know that's the plan because it was a little anxiety-producing just waiting and not knowing if they're just busy with other things and might not get to it.

it was a decent quick stay at the end of my trip and the bed was comfy enough.

it's a little bit out of the way, which is ok but consider the hills! Selina is a hyped chain of hostels but I didn't feel like it lived up to it. I didn't get good info at reception - apparently there was a wine+paint and yoga class that were 'free' during my stay but I didn't realise were on. The rooftop is closed until summer which wasn't in the info before I booked which would've been cool
