Nice hotel, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was a buffet, which was good as one could pick and choose. The hotel is located within the city walls of Khiva, so everything is in walking distance. Also helpful with the airport pickup and desert tour.

There was a bad sewer smell coming up the bathroom, which was pretty strong at times. Not really a bad thing, but the staff is still struggeling a bit with their English, but they are also trying really hard to help you. Also the owner asked me like 5 times on WhatsApp to write a review, which was very annoying.

Lovely, clean rooms. In the heart of the old town. Can walk everywhere from here. The owners were lovely and even gave us a late check out as we had an evening train. Nice and quiet.

Staff seemed uninterested and unbothered. The TV in my room wasn't even attached to the wall, the table was falling apart and there were marks all over the wall. There was one charging port but the room was booked for me and my sister. I don't understand why the hotel didn't provide a double room. The TV in my dad's room wasn't working and neither was the bathroom ventilator so it got really stuffy. Just an overall poor experience and probably the worst hotel I stayed in during my two weeks trip to Uzbekistan. Staff didn't even tell us the breakfast hours or where it was served until I asked myself. Just a very poor experience and honestly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I would pay a little extra and stay at Leader hotel which is under 10 mins drive from this hotel in which the service is a lot better. The price I paid didn't justify the service I received and the quality of the standards of this hotel. Breakfast was chaos as so many people were present and not enough seats for everyone to sit. Very disappointed and in future wouldn't stay in this hotel when back in Uzbekistan.
