Adult Only was not adult only. We saw teenagers and could here them scream for their parents from our room. Also heard loud music from the closest villa suspecting it was the teens.

Villa / amenities / staff were awsome. The drinks / BBQ experience and pool bar were highlights !

I liked the room so much I didn’t want to leave.

This was the most amazing room I have ever slept in. The shower was in closed in panoramic windows overlooking the jungle. The interior was a modern cabin feel with ample space. Overlooking the jungle in the exterior of the room was a patio with ample space and a beautiful hot tub. Service could not have been better, golf carts were at the ready to pickup and drop off anywhere in the property. Best experience.

Hotel is on the hill - some casitas are down and some up as the restaurant and pool and spa, but we like to walk so it doesnt matter for us:) You cam also use golf car, you can just call and in minute they take you where you want:)

Amazing hotel right in the forrest. If you really want to enjoy quite place around Arenal - this is it - not crowded big hotel, adult only. Very clean, spacious and comfortable casitas. Some has view directly on the volcano. The shower is big with view to the forrest. There is also whirpool and small teras when you can relax. The door had also mosquito net so you can have opened the door whole night without using aircondition, it was amazing to woke up with the sound of the forrest. All staff was very kind and helpfull with everything - adventure tours, cleaning car etc. We felt as a home. Restauramt offer many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner - also the special offer for costarican 5 course meal and 5 coctails was amazing. Wet bar offer coctails which you can enjoy in warm pool also with the view on the volcano. Sometimes you can see sloths directly from restaurant. It was very pleasant and lovely stay for our honeymoon. Pura vida to all staff of Amor Arenal😍

location away from it all. Nearest restaurants some distance away. Resort located on side of hill. depending what room you were in, walking to the restaurant took some effort; however, there were golf carts that would come and get you.

Food menu selections could have been a bit wider. Nevertheless, prepared and served extremely well. Room was fabulous. View limited. Dining area, great location, view of jungle. Staff were great, caring, helpful, friendly. Whoever is doing the hiring is doing a great job. 2 trails on site. because of rain, didn't do the longer one but did the shorter route. interesting and well maintained

We arrived for our honeymoon to Amor Arenal. The staff was extremely kind and explained to us all the details about the hotel and the facilities. Carols took us in the golf cart to our room, it was magnificent In the middle of the jungle!! There is 100% privacy in the room and everything looks so beautiful facing the forest. We got from the hotel some flowers, champagne and strawberries, it was lovley. The hotel has an app that shows all the possibilities about the area’s tours and attractions, it’s very convenient. Also you can see the restaurant menu there. The vibe in the hotel is absolutely amazing, they take you anywhere in golf carts. In the pool area there is a heated pool like a big jaccuzi in front of the bar. We even got a cake for my wife’s birthday 😊 The service in Amor Arenal is one of the best I ever experienced! Very recommended!!

restaurant was kind of pricey, and other options are far (you can only access the hotel by car) so sometimes you need to use the one on the hotel.

Not a big deal to us, but something to note is that our room was down the hill from the reception area and restaurant, so we needed to call for a golf cart to go there or we needed to walk a long ways up. However, I appreciated the privacy more than the trek, so i wouldn't trade the privacy for an easier way to get to the reception and restaurant. Breakfast and dinner was good, but we preferred food outside.

Amazing location. Our room was private and beautiful. The entire property is immaculate and pristine. The restaurant has great view of Arenal Volcano. The staff was professional, communicative, accommodating, and helpful. We needed to arrive early and check out early as well. The staff was prepared for our early arrival and early departure, and even provided a boxed lunch on the way out.

It was a hike to get to this location. The roads are super bumpy and not paved. It is also a very long drive. The food was just okay to us, nothing spectacular.

The service and staff were amazing and so accommodating. They went above and beyond to fulfill every request. The room and resort was absolutely beautiful. We could not believe our room was as nice as it was. The hot tub on the balcony was an added plus and was so nice to enjoy mid day. The pictures really do not do it any justice. We also enjoyed a massage and it was NEXT LEVEL-such a great, serene, peaceful experience! The quality of the massage was also perfect. The girls at the spa ensured that everything was perfect for us. We wanted to stay here longer and we’re so sad when we had to leave.

The staff made everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I couldn’t believe how nice everyone was. Everything is extremely clean, the AC worked perfectly, beds were comfy, dinners (especially the Costa Rican menue) were delicious. The location couldn’t have been better - volcano view, close to La Fortuna, the Volcano NP and the Hanging Bridges NP. The cabins you are staying in are well-equipped and beautiful with their own jacuzzis. We can highly recommend this place.

The villa was stunning ! In reality it is much bigger than on photos. I can’t explain how amazed we were when arrived. The territory of the resort is enormous and beautiful, during 4 days of our stay we didn’t want to leave it at all. Gym, meditation spot, swimming pools, restaurant, trails - everything has exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be back!

When you first arrive at the property, it took at least 45 min for us to get checked into the room. We had just come from a 3-hour drive from the airport. The staff was super friendly and thorough with explaining how things work at the property which took up a lot of time (partially due to a bit of a language barrier). However, this was minor because our stay was well worth it!

I loved that our casita room was immersed in the rainforest and had a warm water pool on the patio. Breakfast was excellent and had stunning volcano views as well. The staff was highly communicative and provided excellent service. My sister and I got therapeutic massages that overlooked the rainforest-- a must-do!
