We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Fantastic huge 3 bed apartment - perfect for a family of 5. The most amazing views from the large balcony. Lovely pool area and sunset views. Handy location near to a number of good cafes and restaurants. 20-30 minute walk down a steep hill to the quiet end of the beach.

United StatesGreat location, right in the small city of Manuel Antonio!! Close to lots of fun activities. Gorgeous “apartments”: all-glass view s with huge balconies. Delicious outdoor restaurant!! Next door to a fabulous restaurant, Emilio’s Cafe! We went there every morning for coffee.

United Statesunfortunately a very strap slop to get to the reception where at the very end after checking out I had a terrible fall, twisted my ankle and they happen practically while I was getting my bag out of the car. one unlucky turn . paving is done with stones and has very high inclination. For people with weak ankles it may be an issue . There is my fortune I guess but the reception agent came in fast with first aid kit and did put some bandage over my foot, I really appreciate that ( ice bag would be better though ) I just wax in shock to ask for it.
spacious apartment where I stayed #34 was just perfect with a great view of the bay , very comfortable bed and pillows, AC worked perfectly and everything necessary was on the kitchen

FranceI think once all the rooms are renewed everything will be ok. I am telling this but I did not visit all the rooms. Yet, we can see in the pictures in booking that some rooms are new and some are old.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer a welcoming drink and hace a shuttle to and from city center/beach (although it would be great to have an additional ones at 12pm and aroind 8 pm). We had one of the rooms with sea view which is really amazing. The room was very clean and cleanliness is on of the important things I like to have in a hotel. The bar offers a great sunset view and the restaurant as well.

AustraliaThe views & pool facilities here were some of the best I've ever seen at any accommodation over all my travels - must see for yourself the photos can't capture it they way you can see it for yourself in person. Location was great - cafe's & restaurants practically on your doorstep. Hotel staff we so friendly & helpful. Room size was generous & beds were comfy, everything was so clean. Would highly recommend! Kid friendly - travelled with my partner & young son (2.5 years old).

United StatesThe mattresses are quite hard, The food and drink menu needs an upgrade so that it is more than just OK and can match the recent upgrades to the property. The portions of the walkways that are painted in a terra-cotta paint color are also extremely slippery. Two people in our party fell just from walking back to the room after a rain.
View is amazing, staff is fantastic. The apartments we stayed in were spacious and stocked with what we needed. Cleaning, reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect not only for the view but because you can walk to several of the best restaurants within just a couple of blocks.

United Statesapartment was very moldy! We asked to be relocated and they insisted that we pay for "upgrade" also, kitchen was poorly appointed. No lids for casseroles, one flimsy tea towel, no pot holders/paper towel/cloth towels etc. also, gas stove was dangerous....gas buildup created extreme flames....staff seemed to neglect apartment. was delayed in check in by 2 hrs and still didn't have basics....also they "cleaned" next day and mold smell was reduced somewhat but not enough...we still have mold smell on our belongings at home now in USA from that apartment. very dissapointing and unhealthy. staff seemed blocked to help out only offered that we pay to stay in hotel.
