The host was really nice and helped immensely to book tours for a discounted price. The room was big and came with an attached kitchen, it was also clean with a lot of fans available for the heat. The location is a little away from downtown, but tours were able to pick up alright. Downtown was still accessible by walking or taking an Uber.

Great location walkable into central La Fortuna. The family who own this place are all very nice and helpful. They helped up book a coffee and chocolate tour for a good price. It was a lovely first stop in Costa Rica.

Very comfortable stay and great proximity to town and activities. The host is so kind and responsive! And thank goodness for the AC :) You definitely get what you pay for, so the room isn’t as “nice” as a mid-tier hotel but it was exactly what I wanted for my stay!

Everything was perfect. The hosts are wonderful people; so kind and accommodating. Check in process was clear and communication before hand was great. The room has everything you need. Very very clean and perfect location. Walking distance from town but far enough away that it's not too noisy. Also, you can't beat the price.

You can actually hear everything going on in the room next door. We heard everything from the alarm clock to the conversations. Take some earplugs if you have sensitive sleep.

Nice place for staying a couple of days. It has a bed, sofa, kitchen table and kitchenette, bathroom with all the stuff you may need. For cooling down there are wall fan and AC. What was not comfortable for us that AC is blowing on the bed so we couldn’t use it during the night, but with fan only it was ok. We had some troubles with hot water, but that problem was fixed pretty fast, thanks for that. In description for our room it was info that you’ll have a balcony, and yes you have it, but common with your neighbors. Not a big deal for us, but if someone wants privacy with balcony, you have to share. There is a parking place, so no worries where to park the car. The neighborhood is calm, nice and safe. There are 2 supermarkets not far from by car. The owner is super nice and friendly, she is ready to help you in everything, she also told us a lot about Costa Rica. Overall we recommend this place.

The various shuttlesnd bus companies didn't know where it was. But we used the sloth hostel just down the road for pick up and drop off and that seemed to work well. The shower dripped the whole time we were there.

It was clean and tidy, the lady running it was very helpful and quick to reply with messages. She let us check in early too which was nice :) Location was good about 10 minutes walk to the center of town. You might see humming birds very early in the morning on the bushes outside the house.

Sometimes the hot water would not come on and the water pressure is very low.

The location was great! Very close to a supermarket and has great views of the volcano. The town is about a 10 min walk. If you've booked a shuttle or excursion, they know this spot and pick-up is very easy.

The property is quite new, our room was large and clean. It had A/C and ceiling fan. The shared kitchen was very clean and well equipped. We had an excellent view of the Arenal volcano. The terrace was a lovely place to sit on and watch the sunset. The family who manage the property were lovely and Nothing was too much trouble, really helpful. They can organised trips and transport.

Reyne is such an excellent host, she and her family are so welcoming and very helpful. Reyne replies very promptly and she was very good at arranging transport for us to our next destination and answering any queries that we had. The pillows were a bit lumpy but to be fair we use good quality pillows at home.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The host lent me her her hair dryer and a rainmac when it was pouring down. They gave us good advice on where to eat and directions on how to get there. The location was very good

The listing says there is a washing machine but actually this is a paid for service that the hosts will do for you. Not a big deal but if you are on a budget laundry is not cheap in Costa Rica! The laundry service was very quick and great though.

Huge apartment a short walk from downtown La Fortuna and a big supermarket too. Lovely friendly hosts, nice kitchen to cook food, comfy beds, amazing view of volcano from window, free parking. wish we had known in advance they had discounts to local tours and hot springs - if you are thinking of going, message them first!
