Apartotel Don Francisco is a great place to stay in Escazú. We have enjoyed every stay here. The staff are very attentive, the space is well-equipped for a longer-term stay, and it is in an excellent location. We also appreciate access to secure off-street parking.

The room is very large and comfortable. The stay included many helpful amenities such as a kitchen and refrigerator in the room as well as parking for my car.

They advertise electric vehicle charge spot, but it isn’t actually available. Kinda false advertising. We’ve stayed here before, and were offered a jury-rigged plug in at a rate 3 times the electric company.

There is no breakfast offered. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean. There is hot water and, at least in our apartment, good ventilation, plus AC.

If you are a person who likes a lot of natural light, this is not the place for you - the windows are limited and in many units, only go into an internal hallway rather than outside. This did not bother me, and there was plenty of indoor lighting to meet my needs.

Great location, secure facilities including off-street parking, and very friendly staff. The bed was quite comfortable and I loved the treat of having a bathtub - a rarity in Costa Rica! Very positive experience; would stay again.

There is considerable wear and tear without renovation. The electronic card key didn’t work and the receptionist was unable to remedy the problem. The staff was incredibly friendly and did their best to assist, but were busy with complications and problems.

The location is good. The lodging space is generally ample, so as guests we did not feel cramped.

Hand towels and face towels for bathroom needed, as well, kitchen cloth towels for drying dishes. Lacked hot water in kitchen and microwave bowls.

There is off street parking which feels safe and secure, however it is difficult to access and exit as the gate does not always open. At the least, there should be a sign posted with the phone number for customers to call for asístanse instead of waiting at the gate for an eternity or giving up and returning to the front entrance of the aparthotel. There is hot water, but the shower is only a trickle, which makes the showering experience less than desirable.

The location is excellent, the property is relatively quiet. The kitchen presence is quite nice and the apartments are a decent size. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Having an electric vehicle it is WONDERFUL that we are able to charge our vehicle, a big benefit.

It is a no frills place but meets all the basic standards; it is our "go to place" when we are in town. It's walking distance, about 10 minutes, to a small shopping center which has a great supermarket. The cleanliness is super and the place is very quiet. There is safe and ample parking for your car. Check in and checkout is fast and efficient. Jenny is always a great help and willing to solve any questions you might have.
