Wifi didn't always work across the entire space but nothing too bad.

We stayed in the 'cylinder' rooms which had a view of the mountain. The toilet and shower facilities next to these were exceptionally clean. Staff were very helpful with booking taxis and excursions. Food from the hostel was good although somewhat expensive.

Cylinder room without air codition is unbearable, but on the other hand air condition smells so bad (mold and dust) that is disgusting...and impossible to sleep after a while.

Very nice located and close to many restaurants and bars. I came with my motorbike for only one night, there’s a private parking lot where I could safely park my motorbike. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommended!

But after having stayed at Selina hostel La Fortuna for the same price the night before and there the breakfast was included I was only somewhat pleased with this hostel. As for the same price for a bunk bed in a shared dormitory Selina was a lot better in all senses. Also this hostel didnt have a kitchen.

Okay price for being La Fortuna and comfortable enough.

Pool looked a little dated and not that clean so we avoided it. Still looks a bit like a building site in places.

We stayed in the cylinder rooms. They are a great concept and worth staying in to experience, but you don't have a great deal of room and there's no where to unpack. Still definitely worth the visit. Breakfast was very good!

The Staff is not very helpful, it seems like they don’t even want to be there. There is no shared kitchen (only a few plates & utensils).

We loved the cylinder rooms and the facilities. It all looks more like a Hotel than a Hostel!

The air con in the pod barely did anything so it was boiling! Also the staff were not the most friendly and seemed a little annoyed whenever we asked for something. Also the pods are small, not ideal if you have a lot of stuff with you! Possibly better for those travelling alone.

The facilities are amazing, lovely pool, lovely bar right on sight with nice drinks and yummy breakfast and the pods are really cool looking! Also the set up is ideal for making friends and meeting fellow travellers. Its really easy to book tours and excursions at the front desk.

The breakfast was quite expensive and not so great when we realized what was available directly in Fortuna. Also, I think the hotel lacks some important finishing touches that could really improve the client experience: adding white sheets and bedding, pale colors in the room, lighter curtains, adding a few decorations, changing out towels once a day, etx. - the private rooms felt a bit dark and depressing. Also beds were not the most comfy. With only a few changes it could be so much better with barely any additional cost. You would think this is not important, but after going to multiple places, we realized this really does make a difference in your experience.

Very good location! the staff at front desk was nice and helpful. Its also a good location if you are traveling on your own and would like to make friends as there are dorms available at the hostel. Parking on site. Pool on facilities was good. good showers, and bathroom, hot water.

It's not for backpackers... It's just a resort. No vibes at all. We were lucky to befriend some other guests, who felt the same way as us. Don't expect to much at this resort. If that's what you're looking for: great.

Beautiful RESORT. We slept in the tent, which are a pretty cool glamping experience. The sounds of animals and insects at night are cool. Don't let the name 'backpacker' fool you. It's got nothing to do with it. It's just a resort.

I slept in one of the cylinders - can recommend to everyone! It's awesome, a very unique stay you can have there. Bathroom outside (of course) and shared, but very nice and modern and clean! Very friendly and helpful staff.

The beds could use individual plugs.

When I arrived it looked like my bed was already used but the staff was very helpful to help me by changing the sheets right away.

the individual rooms in the cylinder are a bit expensive for What it is (very tiny, no space for luggages) but it’s fun for 1 or 2 nights, staff wasn’t very pleasant!

location is in the center of La Fortuna, near a lot of restaurants and facilities, very nice breakfast with choices and fresh fruits, great pool and space! common bathrooms were very clean and theres a lot of Space!
