The lighting inside the cabin could be a little more warm and less bright.

It is truly an Oasis. It was sleeping inside the middle of a tropical rain forest and the walks were beautiful and the gardens gorgeous. Would definitely stay again.

This place was so amazing. Super friendly staff that really takes care of their place. The location was wonderfull, surrounded by nature and with many animals to see. Room was very clean, comfortable bed en good shower/bath.

Staying close to nature has its pros and cons. Expect noises during the night. Howler monkeys could be loud. Beds are OK, not super comfy. Wi-Fi signal drops off in some places (in the cabin).

Perfect location (close to la Fortuna) and a destination on its own (comparable or better than popular tourists park destinations) . We saw sloths, howler monkeys, lots of birds and frogs.

Great location, basic but very comfortable and clean lodge, close to local amenities and a short drive away from local attractions and experiences. A lovely breakfast overlooking the jungle, shared with an abundance of colourful birds and squirrels, was a great start to the day. Very friendly & helpful staff, just wish we'd stayed a little longer.

Being right under the rainforest means the cabin can be a bit dark

Everything is damp as you're in the middle of a jungle. Not sure there's anything you can do about it. A price to pay for being close to nature.

Amazing to stay right in the rainforest and hear the sounds night and day. Staff are super friendly and so handy to do wildlife tours around the property. Saw frogs, snakes, monkeys and sloths. It felt like a real Costa Rican experience.

The lodges were a bit simple for our taste. Lighting was very white/sharp and not so cosy, the mosquito nets were damaged, so insects could enter the room, and also it would be nice if Wifi worked properly in the lodge.

Great location and private route in the jungle right next to the lodge. Good restaurant (both quality and prices) and nice staff.

There was really nothing to complain about.

The little wooden house was in the middle of a tropical park, monkeys and birds could be heard in early morning and late afternoon hours. While breakfast, you could watch the birds coming to a little feeding station. Breakfast was very nice, fruits, good coffee and eggs were served. No luxury but in the middle of nature!

Great location to visit Arenal, the bedroom was functional and clean. Amazing wildlife on the property: we saw a ton of birds, howler monkeys, and even a baby sloth coming down a tree.

Honestly, can't say anything bad. We did not have a car so we didn't make the trek to the larger part of Fortuna as it was a bit far to walk, but we wanted a rainforest experience and we got it!

The property was absolutely beautiful, the family cabin was very comfortable and we were able to use the kitchen to cook our own simple meals (food purchased in town, the smaller part of Fortuna, a reasonable walk). The staff at the desk were very helpful. The restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious, good portions. They evenade is breakfast to go when we had to leave early in the morning. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the property, the hummingbird garden and the bird feeding areas. We even saw a sloth on the property.

Loved the setting, really nice walks on the property, hummingbird garden and we saw sloths and monkeys and so many birds on the property. Good breakfast choices of eggs and toasts, Gallo pinto or pancakes. No meat on any of the dishes.

Everything. My plan behind staying at this property was to be in contact with nature and more specifically, to take the night tour and see snakes. We saw 6 snakes in total, plus a bunch of other animals (frogs, insects, spiders, etc…). Besides that, things that were great: staff was great, they gave us a better room than the one we got, wifi was actually great, breakfast was awesome, and the accommodation is not far from Downtown La Fortuna.

The food could have been a bit more interesting, more local. It was good, but a bit bland. The wifi didn't work very well. The trails closed at 4:00 pm even though we were paying guests.

The staff was really friendly. The environment was amazing. The cabin was very pleasant. It felt private. We were surrounded by trees. Breakfast with the birds was amazing!

The aspect of the whole place was overgrown. This of course resulted in amazing wildlife to see, but the effect was quite gloomy.

The birds on the feeding table next to the restaurant were absolutely amazing. Staff were lovely and the room was comfortable.

I got much more than expected out of this stay. Thank you!

My friend and I happened to stay in the jungle hut that had a sloth in the tree right outside. We were eating dinner and one of the employees named Gerald went above and beyond to let’s us know about the sloth so we can see it in action up close. If it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t have seen the sloth so that made our stay even more of a magical experience. Thank you to all of the employees for being so kind and answering all of our questions and going the extra mile so we can have an unforgettable stay.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the arenal oasis lodge. A huge thank you to Gabriela, who was in touch with us prior to our arrival and helped us organise all activities. She also went above and beyond with finding a suitable transfer. We enjoyed our morning breakfast at the bird feeders and the morning birdwatching walk with the guide Pablo. We spent 3 weeks in Costa Rica doing multiple wildlife and birdwatching trips and Pablo was the best! Absolutely recommend to everyone.
