A must stay, what a view of the volcano! Amazing experience during our stay on Arenal Roca Lodge, mainly thanks to Cesar and Henry, the guard from the place. Cesar made everything easy and gave us recommendations of places to eat and activities to do during our stay. Henry so kindly showed us the animals around like the red eye frog, time and sand yellow frog, Martin pescador bird and many more, that plus his explanations were super interesting! The breakfast was delightful and the service too. Truly a must stay. Will recommend and will definitely stay again when we come back.

It should be nice to have the refrigerator on the room.

The highest benefits of these accommodation is definitely the location and the amazing view from the window. Is it better to stay at the edge of La Fortuna, because the town is very rush and traffic. The cottage was very clean, spacious and comfortable, the staff was helpful, the breakfast was inventive and very good. The air-conditioner worked very well. When you are traveling by car, is it possible to park in the grounds.

The dining area doesn’t have a view and doesn’t fit with the overall aesthetic of the property.. Massive shame as it would really add value to the property! And maybe build a swimming pool or thermal spa as well with a view on the volcano

The room was very large and spacious. It had huge windows that looked out. The breakfast was really good. They gave you a choice and everything was fresh. The man at reception, Caesar was really helpful. At night, he took us across the street and was showing us some night frogs and reptiles. We saw birds. He really went over and above his duties. He also got me a discount to go canyoning the next day. I am really satisfied with this hotel/company .

The room is extremely humid but this is certainly due to the area. The room is not well insulated so you can hear the cars passing by. Nothing is reachable by foot. You'll need a car to go basically anywhere.

The view from the room is amazing. Lots of hummingbird just in front of the room. Breakfast was really good. Comfortable bed. The staff was really nice and helpful.

The first row of bungalows is next to the road and very noisy. At night between 9pm and 6pm it is bearable but if you are sensitive to noise, ask for the further away bungalows

These lodges are amazing value! The location and views are excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with a packed breakfast on our first morning as we were leaving early for ziplining. The next breakfast was freshly cooked with options to suit everyone. Our chalet was a little dated but really large, clean and well furnished.

The only thing that I didn’t like was the fact we were only given 3 coffee pouches to last 2 days, then had to pay a dollar for every extra one. Only a tiny thing, but it felt just a bit mean. Most places replenish the coffee tray each day. The rest was brilliant and would definitely go back, or recommend.

The view was stunning, great location as not too close to la Fortuna good breakfast and lovely staff.

Beautiful location even though mist and rain often mean it's hard to see the volcano fully! One evening the receptionist showed us some wildlife we'd never have spotted by ourselves, so that was a bonus! Very roomy lodge, great to have a coffee machine. Comfy beds.
