Aircon in the dorm rooms is a bit awkward - it’s great that the main dorm room is essentially broken down into three smaller rooms as it means more privacy but the aircon unit is located in the main room which means the smaller rooms can get a bit hot, but it isn’t a big deal

Nice, clean kitchen and communal area. Free (good) coffee every day. Dorms are clean and quiet. Staff let us switch to a room with a window when it was available. Some optional activities including a movie night. Helpful advice from staff

The bathroom was quite icky, stank and had a real damp problem, which would spread to the room if anyone left the bathroom door open. No hot water - very cold showers.

The dorm room was split with internal rooms, which meant we all had our own space (2x two-bed bunks in two separate rooms, and 4x 2-be bunks in the main room).

The dorm is very spacious with AC, the beds are clean and comfy, good kitchen, friendly staff, good location in a quiet neighbourhood 10min out of town, can totally recommend

The shower didn’t get hot, so I took incredibly brief, cold showers while here.

It’s in a quiet area, maybe 10 or so minutes from the main road in La Fortuna. It has AC and comfortable mattresses. There’s a convenient cheap restaurant right next door.

The young men who work here are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The kitchen is big and pretty well equipped, and there is a large area to hang out or practice yoga.

Everything was fine! Not located in the main center but you can walk there.

Nice place with big common areas, nice to hang out and meet people. The kitchen is big, it's pleasant to cook and eat there Pretty clean and comfortable in general. Activities: 15minutes walking from the swing rope. They usually recommend a hike to the people who ask for recommendations: Be aware that you need a good physical condition and also no risk of rain (otherwise it gets pretty dangerous) if you want to do it. All in all it's a really nice hike, you get to see a lot in the cloud forest (insects, birds, monkeys ans squirrels if you're lucky) and you can swim in a beautiful lake, for free.

The only thing missing was a place to let our towels or bathing suit dry…. so we hang it in the room but it could get smelly really fast and took forever to dry 😅

dorms had some mould by some of the beds and if you’re not in the beds w the larger room the rooms are quite small for 4 people and all their luggage. there’s also no hand soap in the bathrooms and nothing to dry your hands w:/

was in good location, short walk to the town and the restaurant next door is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! staff were super friendly and they had a group whatsapp to plan things to do w the others! bathrooms were also cleaned daily!

No soap to wash hands with on the toilets for some reason. Can be a bit too busy as there are several dorms and filled up the hostel is packed with people which can be either cool or a bit annoying, depending on your preference.

Good atmosphere, well equipped kitchen, good value for money, hot shower, friendly and helpful staff, buzzing with backpackers, air-conditioned dorms.

There isn't anything I didn't like. It was a great place and I enjoyed it here very much! I even extended my stay😆

I love that there is a bathroom and shower in the room as well as outside and upstairs. The place is spacious and the staff are very kind and helpful. I love that they do a group whatsapp, it was so nice to reach out to all participants and plan trips and rides together. I also love how close it is to the city center and the rope swing place as well.
