Great location, safe and comfortable. Loved that it's next to the rainforest. You see and hear the animals. My room was huge with comfortable bed and hot water in the shower. Parking was essential.

The room we stayed at was right behind the reception area and there are some noise during the day.

All the facilities are amazing. There is a new pool and garden behind the hotel. The view from the breakfast/restaurant can see the Arenal volcano and there are toucans and other birds in the morning eating from the bird feeder. The staff were very helpful with booking tours, answering questions about transportation.

They put fruits during breakfast (around 8am), and lots of birds come to eat. I saw more species of birds than in Monteverde. And you can explore the garden at night. I saw a tree frog live for the first time!

Perfect location, we had a beautiful view on the volcano..We loved that the feed the birds in the morning..we saw more birds here than on our hikes. My husband loved the Night Walk , he saw lots of frogs just a few meters from our room.. Very friendly staff . We booked our trips in the hotel, it was cheaper then at the location. I would recommend

The room was very basic.

The staff was very helpful. The sloth tour they offer was wonderful. Armando was so nice that he even offered me a free night walk in the edge of forest outside the room. I also booked jeep-boat-jeep and hot springs from them. Very convenient.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. They help arrange a huge variety of tours. Room was much more than anticipated with a living area and kitchenette. Beautiful pool, lots of wild birds, big meeting places if needed.

Fantastic views from the restaurant, we had amazing birds at breakfast including toucans, with the Arenal volcano as a backdrop. The staff were very friendly and accommodation particularly John at reception who helped us with our room, and José who was funny. We had a brilliant time with Armando on his sloth watching tour: highly recommend, and we saw at least 14 sloths, some with babies. He also took us round the garden in the evening to find the red eyed green frog. The food in the restaurant was also good for breakfast and dinner.

Tucked away off main busy strip. Friendly staff but settle in availability to assist. The bird watching at breakfast was amazing!!! Every colorful beautiful bird visits die to there double feeding areas for the birds! And the wait staff are right on it!

The walls were a bit thin and we got unlucky with consistently loud neighbors. Earplugs were a necessity.

Absolutely gorgeous property with more improvements in the works. So much wildlife around, including lizards and birds. The pond and the pool are comfortable areas to spend time. Amazing views of Arenal and easily walkable to anywhere in La Fortuna. Comfortable, large, well-equipped rooms and a delicious breakfast available for a good price. Our room was upgraded to one of the large, upper floor rooms in the annex building that had a kitchenette and a direct view of the mountain. Would stay again without hesitation.

Did not jump in the pool, so cannot comment on it. Good common area around it though. We are early risers so breakfast starting at 7 is a bit late for us.

Excellent location, fantastic bird and wildlife viewing from the restaurant patio, good included breakfast, well appointed rooms albeit a bit dated. Great coffee. Enjoyed other meals at the restaurant. Excellent tour suggestions, free ice.

Very little. I would suggest getting a few lamps for the room as the overhead lights are a little harsh. Some hooks in the bathroom would be nice.

The open air restaurant where they served an excellent breakfast was so beautiful and we saw dozens of species of local birds at their feeders. It was awesome.

super place to stay ,close to la fortuna town and all this had to offer. breakfast was great with super views of wild birds including toucans feeding off fruit on platforms supplied by hotel we ate dinner twice in resturant it was great value and two of the best meals we had in our stay in Costa Rica We went on Sloth trip with Armando saw 27 (a record) in the evening he took us on a night walk around the grounds and saw many frogs and other creatures overall great stay

The young men at the desk were incredibly helpful booking activities and further travel. Armando is fantastic and we recommended his sloth tour to others we met The highlight was eating breakfast while watching a fabulous assortment of birds that came to the feeders

The beds are slightly hard, but really there was nothing we didn't like here.

We had a great stay here. The location is perfect, giving excellent views and a feeling of being immersed in nature, while still being only 5 minutes walk from the town. Our room was big and had everything we expected in it. The best thing about this place are the staff, everyone was so helpful and friendly, they gave us so much advice and booked transport and trips (at a better price than going direct). The sloth tour with Armando was an absolute highlight - we saw 26 sloths! The restaurant is also very good and we enjoyed a nice meal one evening. The breakfast with birds is wonderful.
