Nothing! The location isn't as breathtakingly gorgeous as places further from the airport, but for a first and last night of a trip I think this is just unbeatable.

So pretty and pleasant and easy, close to the airport but peaceful and quiet, and Margarita was super friendly, very down to earth, let us play with her many dogs, and cooked us a delicious breakfast in a really pleasant setting. I would go back for my first and last night of every Costa Rica trip - convenient to the airport, but you feel like you're on vacation right away.

We just felt that the price didn’t quite reflect the overall standard. But this is possibly all the extra charges applied by booking.com and wouldn’t have been as high a price if we’d have booked direct! Worth noting that a lovely German family with 5 kids (whom our kids enjoyed playing with) were hosting while the owner was on holiday. So our experience may have been better, worse, same or just different had the host herself been there.

Really lovely feel to the whole property. Nice pool area. Lovely room. Great big extra king bed and lots of space. Hot shower (although flow was a bit poor). And quiet neighbourhood with lots of birds and cicadas and iguanas. Hosts super accommodating with an early check in and helped us with various things and booked us an airport taxi to leave too.

Not much -- the fan was sufficient for us, but an A/C may be nice when it is warmer outside.

Floors could have been cleaned better but I am also picky about cleanliness.

The staff was exceptional and our children were in heaven there with all the dogs, the swimming pool, and space to run around.

We would have liked to stay longer.

Margarita was above-and-beyond friendly and welcoming. After a long day of stressful travel, she helped us order food for delivery and quickly made us comfortable in this beautiful setting. The location is convenient to the airport, but still feels like a peaceful haven. Breakfast was made to order, plentiful, and delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed meeting other travelers. So much to enjoy about this place!

Margarita is the most welcoming hostess , in a pretty little quiet oasis , 15 mins from airport on the road towards the coast , perfect way to spend the first night in Costa Rica, she even made us the most delicious traditional rice beans and salad meal just what we wanted not too much just enough to feel that we had started our holiday . Thank you Margarita , we will be back next time .

A bit tricky to find, our taxi couldn’t find it, but the host was excellent and came out to find us and guide us to the property despite it being at midnight!

The gardens were lovely and the outdoor breakfast hut was very peaceful and relaxing. It was well equipped for children with a small park and pool. Our children especially loved the hosts pet dogs.

The towels were quick dry fabric and a little different than what I’m used to. Would appreciate Cotton ones, but I know there’s so much moisture there. They might not be a good match.

Villa Margarita was a beautiful Villa. Margarita was kinda and accommodating from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the pool, hammock, and outside patio. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The dogs were so friendly!
