Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Costa RicaParking is ... odd. When I first arrived late afternoon I found a space along the street just in front of the casino entrance. I checked in and asked if I was in the correct parking area (was there a garage or some other lot as there were only about 7 - 8 spaces total from what I could see). The nice guy at the front desk insisted on coming out with me to see where I'd parked. He shrugged and said, sure, it's probably fine. I told him I was leaving for a late appointment and coming back at night and asked where I should park. He suggested I ask when I came back. When I returned around 8:15 it was raining. There was a crush of cars all parked together under the portico up front but no official spaces on the street. I asked the only guy I could find if there was any official place to park. He said no. I ended up leaving it under a street light on other side of the street. It all turned out fine, but it seems odd that a hotel/casino that large has no parking...
Room was quiet and cozy. I specifically asked for a room far away from the casino (didn't realize when I first booked it that it was part of a casino). They gave me a room on the top floor. Didn't hear a peep. Was also great that the restaurant opened at 6:00 a.m. as I had to leave at 6:30 for an appointment.

Only thing we would change is the communication from the front desk. We missed breakfast as they never mentioned it to us. We arrived late, so knowing this would have helped us a lot!

Reasonably priced, functional hotel well-positioned between airport and city centre. New bathrooms. Happy to provide early breakfast-to-go. Worked well for Tortuguero transport pickup. Really nice reception staff.

United KingdomThe hotel itself is quite dated as well as the rooms. The standard of cleanliness could be improved also, especially in the gym.
The staff were very welcoming and approachable with any issues. The location itself is not bad, we needed somewhere near to our car rental place so it suited us but the park is close by and is very good for a stroll. The beds were fine, nothing special but we slept fine. Breakfast was okay too, not a massive amount of options but fresh eggs cooking to your liking was great.

BrazilRooms were a little bit old, when we arrived there was a strong humidity smell. Room key kept losing its code and needed to be reset almost every day.
Common areas are good, rooms were spacious (but need some renovation), breakfast did not have many options but would vary everyday and the things that were offered were tasty. Staff is increadibly kind.

United StatesThe restaurant was pretty expensive and there weren't a lot of other options within close walking distance. The fee for a ride to the airport was really high. We told the front desk we wanted to pay by card and when we got to the airport in the ride they arranged the driver would only take cash. The taxi did not turn his meter on. I'll make sure I ask them to next time.

Clean and spacious rooms with everything you need. We stayed here after arriving in San Jose via SJO airport and used the shuttle which was a good price and was waiting for us on arrival which was great. We’d had issues with our arrival due to flight delays and the staff were very helpful and quick to respond.
