The hills 😂. Nothing we really didn’t like about the property to be honest

Very well thought out, felt like you had your own little bit of nature / sea view. The wildlife is amazing, made so many memories with our little boy walking around spotting sloths, monkeys, etc.

I wish there was more seating in the living room section of our casa - there is room to put something that can accommodate more than 2 people, especially when the house will sleep 6.

Loved the VIEW from and deck of our room! Was beyond anything I expected!! And Jans our concierge was exceptional, making our activities/excursions so easy - no research, no personal booking, no figuring out which is the best one, no scheduling rides - Jans took care of all of it and it was a dream that pushed our experience over the top. And the wildlife that came to our deck from the treetop canopy - every day we got our own personal close up tour: spider monkeys, capuchins, toucans, macaws, sloths, iguanas - all of it: amazing!

Private bungalow with balcony fit us well. Can’t say enough about the beautiful views and exceptional concierge service (thank you, Miguel). Best of all, we felt like we were in good hands so all we needed to was enjoy ourselves.

The property is hilly. They have shuttles that you call and usually within 10 minutes they pick you up. The staff are great and so is the food.

It is beautiful and has lots of Costa Rican native animals and plants. Our room had a beautiful jungle view and we had monkeys, birds and sloths that we watched from our balcony. Awesome! Also one of the pools was very close to our room and again I have to say it is beautiful, temperature nice and even has a waterfall.

Everything about this place is amazing! Its a nature lover’s paradise.The whole resort is built in a tropical rainforest (it’s literally a sloth sanctuary) and has a private beach which was equipped with all the amenities such as chairs, towels, kayaks, boogie boards, food, drinks etc. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. They even let us use the private beach after we checked out!! The restaurant in the resort is also really good, and has amazing views. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone visiting costa rica!!

Everything was great.

Our room had fantastic views of the Pacific! We enjoyed some smashing sunsets from the balcony. The room was well equipped. Shuttle service to the beach is prompt and a great way to get to the beach if you don’t fancy the walk. Plenty of wildlife around, sloths, macaws! The restaurant was lovely and food was great. The service at the beach was also excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed the daily cocktails! Check in and check out was smooth. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby for food and drink!

The price still feels quite steep judging by the quality of the room (Tulemar Bungalow). If breakfast had been included then it would have felt more reasonable.

An earlier check in could be nice

The property is gorgeous. The staff is extremely helpful, kind and fast. I think it is very important to note that there are many stairs and some inclined walks inside the premises. You can observe many birds, monkeys and even sloths from the terrace of the property. Restaurants are very practical and good. Pools and beach area are also excellent to come back to after excursions.

We took a night tour organized through the resort that felt a bit touristy for our taste.

Beautiful cabin with a gorgeous view over the ocean. Lots of exotic birds and even sloths climbing around in the trees! Beautiful private beach och lots of green lush trees on the resort. The café on the resort served very tasty meals and overall the staff was very attentive and service minded.

Google maps does not no where this spot is! DO NOT have avoid tolls in any GPS system or you will be SOL! It took us double the time to get to property and we had to go all the way back to square one to figure it out! Also the booth agent looked at us like we were idiots when we asked to go through the gate to get to our bungalow. He tried to make us park across the street.

The resort area was amazing. Staff went above and beyond for my boyfriends birthday! the service was unmatched and the view was stellar!!

The bedrooms are outdated for the price, and a balcony would have been a nice addition to the bungalows. The resort is also under staff, we had issues calling the front desk for help and not having right away. Also breakfast is not included which for the price should have been.

The location was great, the private beach was awesome, and the animals in the property was super cool.

There was not a whole lot of food options right on the property. But, we were able to find nice traditional Costa Rican food outside of the property!

My husband and I came here two nights for part of our two week honeymoon. We loved all of the staff here. Our concierge, Orlando, was so welcoming and helpful. We absolutely loved the black sand beach and actually had it to ourselves for awhile one day. David and the beach crew was also very nice! You can order lunch and snacks right to the beach, again a nice perk! We had a couples massages too which was by far the best massage we have ever had! Our room overlooked the garden and ocean- we will be back!
