Everything was great

If you love to wake up with the sound of chirping birds and surrounded by nature this cozy bungalow is the spot for you! Leydi and her husband are the sweetest people ever! Breakfast is phenomenal! They even spotted a sloth for us and gave us a couple coconuts.

Nothing, everything was great

Wow, this was such a gem! We absolutely loved our short stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin is super cute, very clean and the hosts were the nicest people in the world. They showed us around the property and we saw some really cool creatures including a red dart frog and a sloth!

Absolutely nothing.

Bungalow Batsu is an absolute amazing place to stay in. The host Leydi is absoluut amazing and will help you out with anything you need. She speaks English very well and everyday she or her husband will bring you breakfast. The location is absolutely fenomenal and a bit remote, it's a 20 min drive to La Fortuna but that's a fun road to drive. There was a sloth hanging in the tree in the front of the house and the hummingbirds come and go. The air-conditioning is a true delight and the beds are amazing. We stayed here for 3 nights and cannot say one bad word about this bungalow, it's location or the host.

Everything was perfect!

The bungalow apartment is new (6 months) very nice and well equipped (fan + AC + kitchen). It’s in a very calm neighborhood in nature. The host is very nice and friendly, he understands English and his wife speaks English. He’s very careful to speak slowly and with easy words if you want to train your Spanish :) Good breakfast with typical galo pinto + eggs and something else that changes + tea or coffee. We enjoyed our stay :)

We really liked the place, a little complicated to find it, but apart from the sounds of the jungle quiet and very pleasant environment. Excellent owner. Breakfast excellent

Everything was perfect!

The place felt brand new and our stay there was incredibly comfortable. Also the hosts were very friendly, I mentioned that I’d love to see a sloth and the next morning they actually pointed me to a sloth in the nearby trees. Also the breakfast was a great surprise and their garden is gorgeous! Loved to have a kitchen area as well.

Staying with my new amigos Leydi and Youder felt just like visiting long-time friends! After a wonderful night of sleep and a delicious home-cooked meal, we toured their property to admire all the beautiful plants, flowers, hummingbirds and hives full of sting-less bees living just out their doorstep. Maybe you will be lucky enough to see the neighborhood sloth! They also treated me to home-grown cacao and sugarcane and even offered a helping hand when I needed mechanical assistance with my car. I hope to be back to stay at Bungalow Batsù soon!
