Everything was great

We stayed in a bungalow and had a feeling of staying in a jungle. Great for spotting macaws and visits from monkeys.

Wifi was very slow. A lot of steps (85+) between pool/breakfast area and our rooms. Also, uneven steps (inconsistent riser height) was annoying and dangerous.

Breakfast was excellent. Great location for access to Manuel Antonio and other sites. Lovely pool. Monkeys, macaws and toucans were about.

Jungle bungalow was the best ...all the comforts of home in a rainforest ...blessings for a big comfy bed with air conditioning wuth daily breakfast which was amazing...fresh fruit was the best . Pool and on-site bar restaurant was just what you need after a long stressful travel ...I would totally go again

There were a lot of stairs. We were fine using them, but I can see how it may be difficult for some guests.

Let down by hotel not providing taxi from hotel when booked and had been confirmed to us and had to organise again ourselves on arrival. Angle grinders going a lot - when paying considerable amount of money for relaxing vacation.- Workshop just behind our bungalow.

Breakfast was lovely but lean. We had to choose one menu item as opposed to a buffet. Food at their on site restaurant was a bit pricey in comparison to other places in the area. Also we got there at the start of tourist season so it was very quiet - nothing they could do about it but would have been nicer with some more guests around to interact with.

We had a superb stay at ECOTICA. Location was great - directly across from a supermarket, plenty of restaurants and cafe's, a bank and other amenities. Staff were lovely and attentive - helpful with booking taxis, setting up sim cards and other questions we had. Rooms were comfortable and clean - far exceeded our expectations, especially the bathroom (better than the photo I saw on Bookings.com). The pool area was great to hang out at. We felt like we were in the jungle - we saw sloths, plenty of monkeys, beautiful birds and other wildlife.

All the extras were quite expensive, the laundry, the extras at the breakfast and especially the YOLO restaurant/bar, the chicken is even to be added on the price of the Ceasar salad. But were certainly not the kind of clients they are used to have, a group of for friends stopping there between 2 hikes and ready for some beers.

Nice place, friendly people, great beds and comfortable rooms, the possibility to play some games at the bar.

Didn't use YOLO restaurant as noisy music in the evenings. Coffee pods in room not replaced daily and also same with toiletries. Bumped into owner who wasn't aware of this so hopefully this will be addressed. Towels beautiful and fluffy on first night but not afterwards. Guess they want to make a good first impression.

Breakfast good, by the pool in mornings. We stayed in suite in garden which had lovely curtained balcony. Lots of wildlife and about 4pm every day the monkeys arrived over top of restaurant roof and jumped into the trees. Very entertaining to watch. We booked for one night but ended up staying five nights

Disappointing that often the breakfast menu had a number of unavailable options and there was a limit of a single drink!

The noise from the bar (there was a band) was very loud in our room.

Bad breakfast and wait staff. We stayed in one of the older rooms that had no windows that opened only a small window in the bathroom oh, it was very stuffy and hot. The restaurant had a pretty weak selection Pizza hamburgers and chicken wings really are you kidding me

Nice staff, gave us un upgrade because of the Pool not being open, we’re really helpful when booking tours. Room was great.
