Cockroach came out of bed frame but it was the only one I saw, but kept me awake for most the night worried about others.

Incredible view, absolutely the best in town!! Amazing host…Jose was so helpful & honest, and he arranged all of our tours perfectly including transportation. The stay was good value for price, our cabin was private and spacious, clean with a great view and comfortable clean beds. Hot shower was refreshing.

It got quite cold when we were there as it is up in the mountains and often rainy. There was no heat in the room and no portable heaters. It was ok under the covers but chilly otherwise. Room was very small but good value for the money.

Good breakfast serve by the owners sister. Lovely small family run lodge. They were very helpful and it was in a good location in the charming town of St. Helena.

The rooms are not terribly soundproof. It was a nice room but a little noisy. The room appeared very clean but perhaps it had not been used for a while. There were some little spiders in the bed. Wifi was good in the room but did not extend to the breakfast room making it difficult to plan the day.

Very basic breakfast on Day 1. Better on Day 2. Staff are nice. Good parking and very accessible. Lovely view with lots of birds in the morning.

Breakfast was great and you had options. The cook even got up early one morning so I could eat before my tour. All I had to do was ask and they helped me set up shuttles to my tours. At the last moment they even set me up with a night tour. The cabins were clean. The bed was comfortable. A bakery, connivence store and restaurants are within walking distance or a 2min. drive. There is also a spectacular view.

Breakfast ended at 8:30 which might be a bit early for some. Could have had a warning about the chances of power cuts - but helpful to have bedside lamps with batteries.

Comfortable beds, quiet, great view, good location close to places you want to go. Nice breakfast options.

The cabana was very nice and spacious with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. The shower area was nice and had a small kitchenette/dining area. Jose (the owner) was very nice and welcoming - he booked us a tour on the first day we arrived with no problems at all. In the morning, breakfast is cooked and served by Jose's sister, Roxana, and it was very nice with a good selection. I would definitely stay here again.

The simplicity and kindness of Jose. His initiative to offer us a better room (we were 3). His knowledge of sites and activities to do and his generosity to help with reservations. His advice for good place to eat. The environment around the rooms, clean, simple, nature. Same that if I was at home, with the bonus of a good breakfast served directly to the room, with 3 choices of menus. Thank you so much to your mom. FANTASTIC. I love nature and I was in heaven with this beautiful rainbow at 7.00 am. SO CALM.

The sheets were old and the bathroom a little bit rusty, but everything worked great!

The room was really nice, equipped with everything you need - a spacious bathroom, fridge, coffee maker, desk and lots of shelves. The internet/wifi was great too. But the best feature was the little outside terrace with a bench and table so you can spend your time admiring the great view with stunning sunsets. The owner was also really nice and helpful.
