The owner was very friendly and gave a lot of good tips about the area. The facilities are well cared for, the kitchen is fully equipped . It is located in the centre of cahuita right next to the supermarket, bus station and Busy centre street . But still it is a very cosy and tranquil place to stay . If we go back to cahuita will be staying here again.

We did miss some big spoons in the kitchen. And the rental cars where parke d at the place itself, would recommend to put them on the street for a more perfect peacefull place. Other than that, is was perfect! Highly recommend.

Wonderfull spot, really lovely host that gave us many tips. Thanks again! Really lovely place, big rooms, clean bathrooms. Airco perfect. Kitchen very clean, very complete. Nice pool, little garden. And two cute dogs! One of the best hostel places in Costa rica.

Warm welcome, lovely and genuine hosts Kim and Flo. They booked a night tour with guide Alex(kayaking on a river spotting birds and insects) which was one of my absolute favorite tours in Costa Rica. Good location. Good coffee in the morning.

The location was perfect for visiting the Cahuita National Park - and also close to other amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. Everything was within 5 mins walking. The host was amazing - she provided a lot of local information including best sites and shops. She even knew the 'usual spots' where sloths would hang out. Thanks to her advice we saw sloths and even kinkajous in the evening. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need: AC and hot water.

The only window in the room was totally blocked by another new building just a few feet apart so there was no beautiful sunlight in the room and it was dark. But once out in the common areas you could enjoy the weather.

The staff was amazing, great location (easy for groceries), clean/comfy/cozy, nice pool and kitchen. Wonderful friendly vibe. Everything is in good condition. Highly recommend!

Our stay was great. The room was very comfy and clean. The owners were always there to help and advise. The kitchen is equipped not only with the tools but also with the basic food. The shared restroom was all right, we didn't have issues with availability. The price of the room was really great. I truly recommend!

Very nice hostel with a nice courtyard (pool, garden). The rooms are cleaned daily and the kitchen is well equipped. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage there after checking out and even had a shower before leaving.

The owner, Kim, was delightful and helpful. The rooms are quite simple, but perfectly adequate. The well-equipped communal kitchen with large, well-organized refriggerator is very helpful, as is the large pot of good Costa Rican coffee ready at 6 a.m. every morning. The location is terrific.

The hosts are very friendly and informative of things to do in Cahuita. Room was big and very clean. Had AC and a TV. We only stayed 1 night as we were just passing through but highly recommended this place.

We really enjoyed everything at Cabinas Cahuita! Staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are perfect and the kitchen gives you the chance to eat in. Also loved the free coffee in the morning. Would stay here again!

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The place is very cute and has a lovely vibe. Tiny pool to cool down and right next to the entrance of the national park. There is free coffee in the communal kitchen which is a lovely touch.

We loved staying here with Kim! Whole place was immaculate and she made us feel so welcome. There was a lovely cold pool to cool off in and it was right by a little cafe and a stones throw from the park.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We spent several weeks in Costa Rica and this was definitely our fave spot. We had a small family room - compact but this doesn't matter as there is so much communal space to chill out in. The beds are comfortable, the whole place is spotless and the AC worked really well in our room. WiFi worked perfectly throughout our stay. The communal space is fab - we spent loads of time hanging out in the massive kitchen/dining space and around the pool outside. The kitchen has everything you need (including loads of basics provided like pasta, rice etc) and even when it was busy on weekends there was still plenty of space to sit/hang out (and in our case, home school the kids!). There are games, books and yoga mats provided. The bus station is a 2min walk away as are a couple of supermarkets and restaurants. The entrance to the national park is around a 5min walk and the beautiful black sand beach is around 15mins. Kim is so lovely and was really helpful throughout our stay. Perfect place to spend a week or so chilling out!
