Getting there. The hotel did not offer an inclusive breakfast, but the restaurant was open.

Driving in Costa Rica is a bit of a pain but once we arrived life was good again. The hotel was very nice and clean, the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The room was huge with a great view of the bay, and the pool was excellent. I would recommend staying here and if I'm ever back in the area it would be my first choice.

The breakfast was fair but the staff was great. I like the location because it was in the quiet out-skirts but still in town. The bridge being out made things difficult.

The pool area is very nice and there’s plenty of different choices for breakfast. In the evenings it’s really nice to sit outside in front of the rooms. The rooms themselves are very loud and poorly sound-proofed which is a pity.

Located right at the edge of La Fortuna, quiet with walkable distance to the centre. On a sunny day you can see nicely vulcan from. Birds singing in the morning, hummingbirds and we saw one iguana by the pool:) Simply paradise

One time we got back from the daily adventures and parking was difficult. On our first arrival, it was hard to find the place. It would be nice if the hotel provide a map image on the booking site.

Breakfast was excellent. Parts of it changed on a daily basis which was nice and there was enough variety to satisfy a mixture of vegetarians and meat eaters, as well as keeping the picky kids happy. The hotel was well situated with regard to town - far enough outside that noise was minimal, but close enough for easy dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful. The kids loved a couple quick swims in the pool when we had a little extra time, and the pool was clean and well kept. One evening we heard monkeys hooting in the distance. Beautiful view of the volcano.

The staff were all wonderful. The breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. We loved sitting out front on the porch in the chairs provided. It was a relatively short walk to the city center. We would definitely stay here again.

Located at the edge of LaFortuna downtown in a quite but 10 minutes walk to the middle of the city. Margarita who was taking care of breakfast was awesome. One day we were not impressed with the food choice and she made us separate eggs.

Would suggest to invest a bit more in furniture for around the pool. Would be nice if there were enough pool lounge chairs for all guests. Currently its a mixed bunch, not all as comfortable.

Especially enjoyed the location, close enough to the town center to be able to walk there. yet on the edge of town surrounded by fields allowing for a stunning view to the volcano | mountain range

It would be very nice if there could be coffee and tea for sale, or as courtesy, in the reception in the evenings until they close. this is quite common in smaller hotels that doesn’t have a restaurant nor a water kettle in the rooms.

Missed having tea/ coffee making facilities in our room. Sadly, the clouds meant that we could not see the volcano.

Quiet location. Clean, comfortable room. Lots of birds visiting the hotel grounds. Nice pool. Friendly, helpful staff. Short walk into the town.

Unfortunately, there was a large bus tour that ate breakfast before us, so there wasn’t much food left for us. Almost no hot water.
