The junior suit was very spacious, with jacuzzi and private terrace. it was tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. Hotel has a sizable pool and 7 hot tabs. Breakfast buffet has good selection, including local and American breakfast options. You do need a car to get to town, but it gives you piece and quiet, with lot's of nature.

It's out of town so you would need a taxi. We expected this but for other customers to know! Restaurants on site is a little bit pricey but very good.

Beautiful setting, I loved the swimming pool and jacuzzi open till 9 pm. Nice way to relax after a day exploring the area. Nice garden too.

We stayed in Rm 309 from 5/14 -5/17/2024 the beds are very uncomfortable, they need new mattresses. The rooms are rustic but very clean . They could upgrade bathrooms since noI counter space for toiletries, a small sink and thats it.

The hotel is located in the perfect spot of la fortuna, the waterfall entrance is 2 miles away. Downtown la fortuna is about 5 miles. The grounds are well kept. Great pool area and hot tubs throughout. Breakfast buffet was nice had several options of food. Overall enjoyed the stay but our mattresses need to be replaced in rm 309

The toilet kept running and we would have to open the back of the toilet bowl to get it to stop filling with water every time we used it.

The setting with trees all around is fantastic with lovely views from the room balcony. The pools were also great. We enjoyed the trail on site and found a whole range of lizards, amphibians and birds. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was excellent.

In the room, the WiFi did not work at all to any of us three guests. I even have a Costs Rican cellular phone, yet my WhatsApp still did not work.

The breakfast was excellent, but the dinner ($40 promotion) meat quality was not really good.

The staff is very friendly and the room is beautiful. I read some negative comments about the breakfast, but now that I experienced it, it is great! buffet style, plenty of fruits to choose and good costa rican pinto. I highly recommend booking a second floor room for the view. The gardens are gorgeous.

Not enough sun beds by the pool. Considering the amount of rooms, there need to be more sun beds. Always when we were at the pool, all the sun beds were taken. Not so nice to always have to sit in the bar area when the kids were playing in the pool. The breakfast was fine but dinner in the restaurant not so great. We only ate there once because the dinner was not good. Also very limited selection.

This was a nice stay. Spacious room, a good shower, lovely surroundings. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location, good value for money. I'd recommend staying here. Close to the waterfall and La Fortuna.

Tiles missing in pool area were sharp and my son cut his foot on them. Needs fixing. Quite far from main town, you would neee a car or rely on taxis.

Amazing pools and hot tubs. Beautiful gardens and a trail down to a waterfall and streak very pretty. Very close to la Fortuna waterfall. Lots of birds around property. Rooms nicely decorated and good aircon. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Cleaners also excellent leaving towels in artistic shapes and very very clean!

Because we were sick and had to cancel our tours, we stayed a lot in bed. So I can say that internet didnt work too well from the bed, had to go to the balcony in order for it to work. Also, I like warm showers but omg was it boiling!! I didnt find a way of making the temperature lower, maybe there was.

We loved the property, very nice, with a lot of green around and maybe a Volcano view (which we didnt have because it was cloudy during our whole stay). Breakfast was great, a buffet with lots of options, quite rare since almost all stays we had in Costa Rica it was a menu with options to choose from and not all you can eat. The warm pools looked very cozy even though we didnt use them we would definitely do it if we had the chance. Unfortunately we got food poisoning before arriving to the hotel so we ordered some soup at the restaurant that the chef prepared by charging same price of a chicken salad. They took it to our room, that was great.
