How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Spacious bungalow in a tranquil setting! Two rooms with a nice living area and kitchen that was perfect for my group of friends traveling together. Powerful AC which is important for costa rica 😅 close to everything.

Warm welcome from Valerie and her husband, amazing support from Valerie to select and book activities (great visit to the mangrove, restaurant CocoLoco with a beautiful view), location close to Playa Conchal and Flamingo beautiful beaches, swimming pool and jacuzzi, among others

A bit dark inside but the trees are nice and protecting the bungalow from the heat which will be a blesding during the hot months.
Very close to Conchal beach. Lovely hosts eith good tips. Quiet place, super soft beddings and good AC.

The building is well designed, constructed to provide a home away from home experience
Very good accommodations, well furnished; there are stairs that could represent a difficulty for the mobility impaired, but otherwise, it’s noticeable the attention to details and consideration for the customer

We were so impressed by this property. The cabana style rooms where really cool and comfortable, within a gated area so while close to the beach there aren't cars passing by. The best part about it is the pool and BBQ area - it's really spacious, has tasteful styling, and there's a hot tub! It was so inviting that we spent a night cooking and swimming there instead of going out. I'd recommend it to anyone! Bonus - we saw a couple of snakes around the room :D

Absolutely loved our stay at Casa Natural. Valerie was a fantastic host and has created a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We loved chilling in the hammock on the terrace, the lovely pool and bbq area, how pretty it looks with all the fairy lights in the evening - just magical. The house is well equipped and Valerie provided lots of suggestions of things to do and places to see. She even booked a catamaran trip for us which was incredible - saw lots of dolphins. Conchal and Flamingo beaches both wonderful. Would love to go back one day - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Casa Natural. Pura Vida!

It would have been nice if the Tv was a smart Tv so that we could open apps like Netflix as the tv only had local channels in Spanish.
The house was spacious and the shower was so nice with the large shower head and feeling of being outside. There were board games that we could enjoy. The pool area was nice.

Slightly long walk to the beach, best have a car for getting around.

The toilet is centrally located in the house but lacks a fan making it a little uncomfortable to plan your business with the dining table right outside. Not a big deal but the addition of a fan would be much apprechiated.
The house is located on a beautiful property with a couple of other similar rental houses. The property has a great shared pool, spa and BBQ area.

Only downside was no on-site laundry.
This was much better than I expected from pictures and I don’t know why- they just don’t do it justice. This 2 bedroom house is smartly layed out. Two bedrooms with AC, a kitchen with fridge/stove/microwave, big shower, tv sitting area, dining table plus outdoor space! The kids enjoyed tv, hubby liked the fast internet. Pool was great to relax in/cool off. Hosts were extremely helpful & quick in responding. The location is wonderful. It’s not really in the woods like the pictures led me to believe..(yes it’s surrounded by nature but in a private gated community). Close to beach/grocery/restaurants.

A little too far to walk to beaches (for us), but conchas beach was our fave.
Lovely structure, attention to detail, nice hot outdoor shower, spacious outdoor patio with hammock to relax facing trees. Owners are lovely!

The location is excellent! Just a few minutes to Playa Flamingo and Playa Conchal. The owners were extremely helpful and gave us great recommendations during our stay. Very clean and well stocked rooms. I would definitely recommend!

There should be a posted sign where to turn into especially at night. A simple foldable triangle side will do something visible.
