How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Breakfast (small offer especially fruits). By our stay construction noise from nearby area. Little bit complicated to arrive, but maybe it was my problem with navigation ... :-)
Its about ten minutes from airport by car, friendly stuff a clean room.

Breakfast was ok but not too many options. Location close to the airport but not much to do around the hotel.
Very clean, large, modern and fairly close to the airport. Staff was kind. Great for one or two nights close to the airport.

The wifi in the room was pretty weak. Avoid the bottom three floors there are some parking lot lights that are never turned off and the light gets into the room. I didn't use the airport transfer service but its not free, as in other hotels near the airport.
Its a quiet hotel near the airport. There are restaurants nearby and also a WeWork building just 5 minutes walk away, which is why I stayed here. Rooms are clean and have desks.

Breakfast was traditional Costa Rica. We ordered a shuttle to the airport with additional charge. Location was close enough to places where you could buy food. The place made me feel safe because it controls the people who can enter the hotel rooms.

Place was new, clean, and comfortable. Right across the street from a shopping center with some good restaurants. Stayed the night before flying out of San José, shuttle got to me airport super early in the morning and perfectly on time. Great place to stay if you’re flying in or out and need a night close to the airport.

Sice there are constructions on the way to here, there is a lot of traffic.
Everything is verry clean. The room is quiet. The location is really good wif you have to go to the airport.

When my friend went out to get a smoke and coffee in the night, one of the night staff sneakily opened the door and let himself in. What he didn't realise was that I was in the bed and not sleeping. I initially thought it was my friend, but then we both got a shock of seeing each other. When I challenged him, he said there was a call from my phone, which was utter nonsense. My speculation is that he came in steal because his other colleague was watching my friend. So, beware of your stuff when in this hotel. I assume they may have a master key for the safe as well.
It is a decent enough hotel for the money you pay. It's OK stay for 1 night.

Staff were rude, check in was delayed by 2 hours because rooms still had to be cleaned. Really poor service & no apology from staff given the price you pay for what is suppose to be a branded hotel. Location wise - nothing nearby.

Very run down, thread bare. Walls need to be painted, hugs are shabby, towels had threads hanging off them. Advertised a shuttle to the airport, but then charged $20 for that shuttle. I just assumed with the e name Marriott attached to it, it would be better quality.
Good location to airport. Breakfast was good.
