Pool was being worked and couldn't use during stay. We understood the maintenance.

Wonderful stay . Hot pools were very nice a private. Short walk to pools . It felt you were in the jungle at the pools . Farm was a extra joy!

Immaculate grounds, courteous staff, excellent food. Farm was cute. I even got to milk a cow! Rooms were maintained spotless. Hot springs were relaxing after hiking and sightseeing. Definitely will stay here again.

The nightly rate could be a bit more competitive, but everything in the area is fairly expensive and it has a great location.

Breakfast was very good with fruit and several choices from the menu. The hot springs pools were well maintained and looked to be emptied and cleaned daily. beautiful grounds for walks with lots of birds and great views of Arenal volcano. The staff are fantastic! helped us with everything from transportation and local tour options.

Beds were a little uncomfortable but not horrible.

The staff was friendly, food was good, hot springs and gardens beautiful, farm was fun, location close to everything . View of volcano from our room outstanding!

Nothing could have been better. Very happy with our stay.

We loved the hot springs. Spent a great deal of time there. Also saw a baby sloth in the tree outside our room. Very fun!

Beautiful grounds and hot springs. Beds were comfortable and casitas were big with a front porch. Nice view of Arenal volcano. Staff was very friendly and always helpful, and will help with booking tours and transportation if needed. Good location for getting to many places.

The property grounds were amazing, so quiet and lush, you didn’t know you were right off a main road. Very helpful front desk. The farm was an amazing bonus and we loved how the animals would just roam the property freely. You’d be sitting in a hot spring and a pig would just walk up! The kids loved it!

Nothing. We enjoyed everything.

We enjoyed staying here so much. The property was well maintained and peaceful. The rooms are individual cabins and are quite spacious. A tasty breakfast was included each morning. There are several relaxing hot springs to choose from. The spa treatments and facilities were wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

Drinks at the bar could have been a little stronger.

The property is beautiful. The warm springs were uncrowded and so relaxing. The farm is extensive and fun to walk around. And the property put fruit out to attract the birds which was amazing to see. Our included breakfast was freshly cooked (no buffet here!) with farm fresh eggs. The restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious for dinner. They provided towels and bathrobes to use at the hot springs.

Everything was great.

We loved everything about this hotel. In particular I liked that it was all pedestrianised so the kids could wander about safely. It was great to have hot springs and a pool onsite, plus plenty of wildlife including a sloth mum and baby, lizards and loads of birds. The location was really convenient and we could easily order Ubers to transport us around La Fortuna cheaply. The view of the volcano from our porch was spectacular.

Perhaps more cool pools among the hot springs since it’s so warm most of the year?

We loved everything about El Silencio, from the beautiful grounds and hot springs, to the super nice staff and delicious food at the bar and restaurant. The animals roaming the property and at the farm were an added bonus! Would definitely stay here again!!

The restaurant at evening is a bit empty and the food was not amazing. I recommend going in town. It is a short taxi drive and there are great restaurant in La Fortuna.

We absolutely loved this very beautiful and relaxing place. Lot of space, nature and wildlife (birds) to watch. Our villa was spacious and confortable. The farm was nice and I enjoyed milking the cow in the morning. The view on the volcano was great. We also enjoyed the hot springs at the end of the day and the bar next to it with a lovely waitress who makes delicious cocktails ! The staff at reception were very helpful advising on activities or helping booking a restaurant on town etc...The breakfast was nice and I loved that they were putting some fruits in the trees near by to attract beautiful birds. I enjoyed watching them during my breakfast.

The restaurant was perhaps a bit pricey for what you got.

We loved the hot springs at the property! Had a really relaxing evening there. You can order drinks from the bar to have poolside, too. The hotel is well located only a few minutes drive from town and there is convenient parking onsite. Breakfast was good.
