Beautiful property. We came during dry season and it was so lovely how they spray down the plants at night. Such a peaceful sanctuary within Santa Teresa. Highly recommend. Staff was so friendly and welcoming too.

The pool was a little dirty , like stuff coming from the walls, but nothing that I good cleaning wouldn’t fix!

the pool area was beautiful, the villas were like a little home with everything we needed. The wildlife on the property was so good to see and we could easily walk to the beach and cafes.

the property had big rooms, adequate kitchen, and great location (beach access across the street and a 2 minute walk down to the water). There was also plenty of restaurants we could walk to as well as a small grocery store. The pool was great for our family. the staff were very friendly and helpful. we could hear music from nearby bars late into the evening but it didn’t disturb us. would recommend for families!

the road up the villas is not paved, so it would be nice if they had a golf cart or some kind of “transportation” to bring the luggage to the room easily. It didn’t have a place to have breakfast or just chill with other people; only the pool.

Pretty much everything. The location is perfect if you want something a little more relaxed within Sta Teresa, but still close to everything. great staff and great villas.

Wifi was a bit spotty, but I think it was our villa because I’ve stayed before and had no problems.

Proximity to good restaurants and beach access, as well as having a pool. The villa had everything we needed to make snacks and quick meals when we didn’t feel like eating out.

Esencia is great for families! Big pool, amazing location, can see monkeys from your porch. This is an older property in ST and the price reflects that. For people who want a comfortable, convenient place close to the beach this is great. Not a lot of bells and whistles but not necessary!

They had an issue with the booking system and I got a room instead of a villa. I was very upset at first but the room exceeded my expectations and I even found it more comfortable than the villa/house.

We especially liked the pool area and the nice terrasse in front of the villa, where we had company of all kind of animals to the meals😜 Nice walking distance to the amazing beach and sunset from the hotel.

Not a big deal, but knowing what time the cleaners come to the Villa, so we can make sure we aren't eating at that time.

I like the location to the Beach and how amazing the staff and reception were at Essencia.
