The location is a little out of town but a very quick walk and an amazing restaurant just up the hill 5 mins away. I wouldn’t want to walk back if I was staying on my own as it is very dark so I would look elsewhere if you are staying alone or plan so you don’t need to walk at night.

the owner is so friendly and the hotel has been built with so much love. the room and balcony are so peaceful and the view is just beautiful! you could stay all day if you wanted. there is a fridge in the room and lovely to have coffee for the morning too. the shower is incredible too! the beds were very comfy! We would definitely stay here again- the raccoons at night were cool too!

There was nothing we didn't like!

This was our first time in Costa Rica and we could not have been more happy with where we stayed :) The host was absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful and genuinely passionate about his property and the work he had put into it. It was amazing and we easily could have stayed longer! We would definitely return here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more private and welcoming place!

Me and my wife loved our stay here. Such a little gem, tucked away in a quiet spot, with beautiful views. The room itself was very comfortable and the host was really helpful and pleasant.

Note that the bathroom is open (window and outdoor shower) and that there are no insect screens :) I think having a rental car when staying there is a good idea.

The owner is super nice, you can see that he’s putting a lot of love in the rooms! He’s been super helpful with any problems we’ve had.

everything was sooo amazig - you are in the middle of nature and it’s absolutly fabulous. The design fits nature very well & the outside shower is the best - espacially when it’s raining! The owner build he‘s dream there & for sure we will come back :)

This place is amazing! The owner is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very pretty, clean, comfy and well equipt. Our Highlight was the Outdoor shower. Everything was lovely, we felt at home. Best accomodation in Costa Rica so far! Highly recommended!

Some side information if you care: 1.There might be some insects because the bathroom is semi-open. 2.This place is newly decorated. 3. You need to walk for ~10 minutes to the main road and ~6 minutes to the nearest restaurant Cerdo Feliz

It is a fabulous place. 1.You can lie down on the net to watch the stars or do meditation. There is also a hammock right in front of jungle. 2. It is a great place for birding (especially for photos) because it is right next to the national park. In front of us, we got 2 scarlet macaws as our friends. 3.We had a awesome host. So kind and helpful. 4. Many outlets and sufficient light. 5. Welcoming drink and water. 6. Creative design of bathroom 7. The nearest restaurant Cerdo Feliz is awesome If you live alone, you might feel it is a little bit lonely and scared when you walk back this place from the Main Street during midnight. However, I met a dog on the street. He volunteered to escort me to home( 30 minutes) !! He is so sweet. Please pat him when you saw him.

For some it may be difficult to navigate the stairs to the room. It sits up a flight of stairs than can be slippery when wet. Be careful and wear proper shoes.

Coolest container build project, top quality, great features, awesome private outdoor shower/waterfall, genuinely awesome host, safe and secluded location, up close and personal encounter with 4 macaws and 2 toucans.

Nothing, everything was absolutely perfect. The only suggestion I have would be adding a microwave - that would add a bit more convenience when it is a bit daunting driving at night in CR lol but otherwise everything was amazing.

Absolutely wonderful, would recommend to anyone staying near Manuel Antonio/Quepos. Owner was very friendly and kind; accommodations are private and cozy. Open air waterfall shower was a highlight, as was the balcony hammock and proximity to town and the surrounding national parks. Out of the 3 places we stayed while in CR, this was the most magical. If you’re lucky, you may even see scarlet macaws while enjoying your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. :)

Amazing, awesome, fantastic stay. Giacomo and his father are fabulous hosts. The accommodation is original and superb. Extremely comfortable, all the amenities you need and want. Bed was the biggest and most comfortable during our 12 days in-country, outdoor shower, lovely balcony. A great price in Manuel Antonio. We stayed 3 nights and wished for longer. Everything was great.

The place is about 3-5 mins drive from the main Manuel Antonio tourist area and that makes it a quieter stay. The room is spacious and outdoor shower is very cool! Overall, very pleasant stay.

Nothing but good to know: if you don’t come here with your own car you can walk (10/15min) to the bus which you can take to the beach

The room was incredible. The owner made it from an old sea container and it was decorated in detail. The bed was comfortable and the outside shower was so nice. The owner and his father were so friendly. On our last day they even took us on a little tour. Thank you for the very nice stay!

Our room was super cute and clean, we loved the hammock on the porch and the outdoor shower. The location was great, close by the national park, various restaurants, and the beach. The host was also very kind and accommodating, we ended up having to cut our stay short and he worked with us to give us a discount, even though it was last minute. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Nothing it’s perfect

Stunning cabin set on a hillside. The owner Jacamo has put his heart into this venture and it shows. Beautiful woodwork, attention to detail, lovely balcony overlooking the hillside and a fabulous outdoor shower! Super comfy bed, small kitchen area and fridge. A/C works brilliantly and TV with Netflix. Loads of wildlife around and Jacamos rescue dog is super friendly. The host is really kind and helpful and makes your stay special, complimentary goodies in the fridge and a banana smoothie for breakfast! A short walk to a local soda and supermarket and about 45 min walk into centre of Manuel Antonio. Jacamo will arrange taxis and deliveries if required. Lovely spot would stay again!
