Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We loved this boutique hotel - to cap off 10 days in Costa Rica. We stayed two nights and really loved the outdoor hot tub, garden restaurant and friendly front desk staff, who were very attentive and warm. The hotel is also really well located.

NetherlandsVery noisy family arriving late and leaving early (another guest complained about the noise) in the courtyard rooms so ask for a room in an out of the way location if you need a good night's sleep before/after a long day.
Beautiful comfortable hotel within easy (30 mins) walking distance of the museums. Very tasty dinner, didn't have breakfast. Allowed us to leave our car there after checkout for a few hours as we explored the city before our flight.

Such a cool, historical place - unique spots to enjoy throughout, like the open air restaurant, rooftop lounge, tropical gardens in different nooks Delightful helpful front desk and wait staff. Great food. Comfortable rooms with stocked minibar. Really nice bathroom. Good neighborhood, close to the main sites but a retreat from the busy streets.
