The shower water didn’t get hot and the living room could get pretty warm during the day.

The property was at a great location, a perfect size with good view from the master bedroom and a big yard. The washing machine was a lifesaver, host was very responsive, and the free hot springs were an excellent perk.

There were no face towels but it seems this is typical for this part of the world.

The house is in a very quiet place though close to the main road. It has a wonderful terrace where you can enjoy the tranquility and the bird songs. There is a big yard and plenty of space to park a car. The host is super helpful. The house has everything you need for a pleasant stay. And the hot springs are amazing.

Small leak above the master bed during the downpour. Handle/Lock on the window is still missing.

Very attentive, comfortable beds. AC was excellent. Gate has a heavy lock for extra security. Family lives close by and keeps an eye on the property. Great showers too. Loved our gecko and lizzard friends not to mention the birds!

We would have liked more fans to cool off - it was quite hot in the kitchen and living area rooms. Ants were a little bit of a problem in the kitchen area.

It is located near La Fortuna Waterfall and very close to the town of Fortuna - central location to tons of activities. The free pass to the thermal springs was great - it’s a beautiful and rustic hot spring facility just out of town. The host, Randall, was very responsive and helpful.

The location was perfect… very spacious. Randall the host was very attentive and helpful. recommended places to go. The hot springs provided by this property were fantastic, Allen (the owner) and beautiful Lara were awesome. Absolutely recommend this place.

Great location out of town with views of the volcano. A well appointed kitchen with everything you need for your stay. The master bedroom was very nice and the second bedroom was okay but didnt have aircon

Airconditioning in the second bedroom would be an improvement. Also a coffe table in the living room. Be carefull when driving into the "back yard", there is a huge hole in the grass that I missed which almost ruined our car ;-) But these are just minor things, the house is absolutely lovely and I would definately visit it again on the occasion of another visit to the La Fortuna/Arenal region.

Amazing house! Very spacy and with great beds. Kitchen, living room and two bathrooms. Two seperate bedrooms, 1 with double bed and airconditioning, the other with 2 doubles but no airco. Also a balcony where a sofa is located. Lots of private parking space (can park 10 cars if you want to). House is located a few minutes outside of La Fortuna and is very easy to reach/find. Lots of dinner locations within 15-minute driving range, for great pizza head out to "Que Rico Arenal" (avoid "El Chante Verde", it looks great but the service/food was a real disspointment, I don't understand the high ratings). Last but not least: very helpfull and friendly owner!

no paper towels or hand towels in the kitchen. The remote to the air conditioning unit stopped functioning and we could not turn off the A/C or unplug it.

The location is great, just outside the busy center but just down the street from the catarata la fortuna. the beds were comfortable, air conditioning in the master bedroom and a nice big oscillating fan in the second bedroom. the living room couches were comfortable and the Wifi speeds were pretty good for central america. There was ample parking, covered at the rear of the house or uncovered in the front yard. Washing machine for laundry with covered drying lines, ample kitchen for cooking if you choose to do so and a decent sized fridge.

Beautiful house, but 1. Rooster in the neighborhood crowing since 4am 2. No coffee 3. No mirror in main bathroom, it’s hard to get ready 4. Need a sign for Green Leaf House. we passed the house 3 times and missed it. Our tour pick up missed the house too. It’s easy to miss the house if you are not pay attention.

Great communication with owner. On the Booking.com it states no parking. That’s not correct. It does have parking. Owner Randall was very nice let us park there even we already checked out while we were in a tour.

I hate to be harsh since the host was very nice and the house was clean and freshly painted. I have to be honest though and let people know that the house is very basic in terms of amenities: * There is only one AC unit in the master bedroom; the second bedroom, living, and kitchen area don’t benefit much. There is a standing fan but can not do much. * The AC unit over the bed is crooked and looks like it would fall on you any minute. I didn’t try to see if it is actually loose or just mounted uneven because I didn’t want to break it. * There are practically no bed sheets for the king bed: the ones that are there are queen size. We had to sleep on the day cover. * There are no nightstands close to the bed, so no place to put your phone, glasses, etc. * One of the outlets close to the bed didn’t have the cover. * The TV doesn’t work, there is no signal on any input. I tried to tune it with no success. * The shower head has embedded electric heater but it doesn’t do much even on max setting. The water gets about 2-3 degrees warmer but not hot. The scary part is that there are some improvised electrical connections right on the shower head! * There are no real bathroom doors, just a flimsy folding screen that give no privacy. * The sliding door for the master bedroom doesn’t have a handle. * There was no light fixture, just some hanging wires, in the breakfast area. * The kitchen utensils are a random collection of things, with different sizes, colors, and styles. All these things could be fixed with not much expense if the owner would pay attention to the little details.

Very good location, walking distance to good restaurants and a short drive to the cataract. The host doesn’t speak English, but was very responsive through WhatsApp. I had to pay cash. The house was very clean and you can park inside the fenced yard. Wi-Fi worked at decent speed.

There were huge ants throughout the house, lights didn’t work, toilets had trouble flushing. There is no hot water to shower with, no working TV, the AC dripped water on the bed, and there was no shampoo or toiletries. Over priced by a lot.

Shower looked a bit dirty, there were small bugs everywhere (haven’t had this issue in other locations and we kept food hidden), only AC in bedroom and it stopped working halfway through our stay, no fans in other rooms so it was very stuffy unless all windows were open.

Loved the location of the property! it was great having access to the hot spring resort.
