Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

PanamaHowever for the omolette station, the chef needs to move faster in cooking the omolette. There was a long line waiting while he was cooking one omolette per person. In other hotels, the chef cook two o three omolettes at the same time. Another thing was the transportation from the airport and to the airport, needs to be a standard charge. When I requested the transportation to the airport, the night crew has another rate way up than the morning crew. I ended up requesting a uber.
Breakfast was great, a lot to choose from.

GuatemalaThe restaurant was a little filthy in the morning due to the fact that pther guests had eaten before us. Even though the tables were clean, the floor was filthy at some spots with food residue.
I liked the room, the view to the pool and the service as well. Everything went out smoothly and efficient.

UkraineUnless you book a room with a balcony, windows can't be open at all, which was quite annoying to me Generally, hotels in Costa Rica seem to be somewhat below the standard: 4 stars in Costa Rica is like 2 stars in Poland, let's say, and the cleaning standard could be better too Though rooms are normally spacious, and for some reason, double rooms feature two rather big double beds Rooms have a coffee making machine but unfortunately, no electric kettle/tea making facility which was somewhat strange

Germanythe rooms are dates and a hairdryer in our room didn’t work. so after an hour of back and force (3 times reception visits, stuff coming to our room to check if a hairdryer “really” didn’t work) we were allowed to use a hair dryer in the room next to us. we stayed only for 1 night before going back home, so for one night it’s ok hotel but not more than that.
proximity to the airport. it took us 20 mins to get to the airport. breakfast is okay but they did not have any lactose free or dairy free milk options.the good thing is that the breakfast is from 6am till 10am, so if you have an early flight then you might be able to grab a quick bite. I would also say that hotel room was quiet. no noise whatsoever, which was perfect before a very long flight home.
