Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Staff great - helpful and polite, English speaking. Outdoor jacuzzi, gym and pool very nice. Size of apartment was fantastic. Quiet location. Cleaning staff great - very clean apartment. Small grocery shop nearby.

United StatesWe travel to CR and stay at Casa Conde every year. But after the pandemic, they no longer have a lot of the services that we really loved. The variety and plentiful selection of breakfast they used to have was TOP RATE AND DELICIOUS. But our last stay, the breakfast was a couple of cookies and muffins and that was it...highly disappointing. But everything else was awesome as always...gym, wifi. Washer/Dryer. Coming back for Xmas...PURA VIDA!

CanadaWe stayed for 13 nights and planned to prepare all of our own meals. Casa Grande only provided 3 sets of cutlery and dishes (knife, fork, large spoon, small spoon, plate, bowl, cup/saucer and glass) along with one small frying pan, one large saucepan and 3 cooking implements. We asked for an additional larger frying pan and a small saucepan but were told none were available.
A breakfast of sweet or savory pastries, hot beverages and juice was available each morning in the former restaurant. Coffee or tea was available throughout the day/evening. The pool was nice as was the hot tub. Having a good washer and dryer in our apartment was wonderful. Casa Grande has a trusted taxi driver whose services we used multiple times successfully. We appreciated being able to book tours through the Casa Grand office. We really liked the staff team.

United KingdomAccommodation was great but needed taxis to see the tourist sights in the centre of San José and I didn't find any restaurants within walking distance, so it was a self catering option in the evening. If self catering perhaps a little more cooking equipment would be helpful.
Spotlessly clean & fresh towels daily, fantastic friendly staff, great outdoor jacuzzi/gym, small pool, sauna to use. Large apartment with plenty of space. Nice coffee and cake at breakfast.

United StatesThe fridge didn’t work except the freezer, The iron spit water onto my dress shirts instead of straight steam and the shower runs out of hot water to fast. Hot tub was not hot and when I came to this hotel to relax with peace and quiet the hotel maintenance workers were loud. The breakfast wasn’t that great either.

South AfricaWe were looking forward to the Jacuzzi or outdoor bath, which was one of the reasons why we decided to book there, that was broken and not available. The Sauna made really loud buzzing noise, while we were using it.
The property has a lovely atmosphere. The gym is really nice and we enjoyed the Sauna. The staff are lovely. They also have some free breakfast snacks and drinks.

PeruThe beds are a little hard. Everything else is great.
The location is great, closed to the center without the craziness of it. The rooms were nice and comfortable, everything you need in the apartments. The front desk team was nice and helpful with information. There is a convenience store around the corner for groceries and Walmart is 7 min away also, the pool is nice and the sauna works great. Small and delicious breakfast items every day. Definitely a place I will like to come back on my next visit to Costa Rica. Great for families and couples.

,It is a marmite hotel, but we like the building, the size of the room, the good WiFi and the pool. The member of staff on reception was helpful and we found we could get what we needed locally.
