Some stuff about the room may not be suitable for some. For example the sink is outside the toilet area. The shower doesn’t have a curtain and in general the minimal look of the room leaves little room for sitting or arranging your luggage properly. It didn’t bother me.

Detailed description: The design of igloos is unique and cool. The pool area is so nice and offers a lot of interaction with other travellers. The Casa Planta is also a good option for refreshing drinks by the pool. Parking was free with security cameras and the welcoming drink was a nice touch. The hotel team is responsive and always around. The room is so clean and has nice toiletries and essential oil diffuser (that was really surprising) The location of the hotel is maybe 5 months walk from the beach which is great. There are a couple of beach restaurants to eat from but if you want to explore more, please note the area is filled with uphills and expect to walk for 15 min min (4min drive) to nearest good rated restaurant. Overall since the area and national park were underwhelming I can say the hotel was the highlight of my trip. The hotel’s back yard is a jungle (we explored the view the last day). Seeing monkeys from the hotel is not impossible. We saw one black from a distance and we saw the most beautiful birds (yellow and red bellied) that honestly I didn’t see elsewhere in the area. Also the last day an amazingly medium sized bird came in exploring the pool area and we were all stunned with how beautiful this bird was. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff was not friendly at all, it was very odd how they were. Starting from Front desk to waitress no one ever asked how we are doing or anything like that. So service gets like 2 stars there. Also food portions very small and food was alright.

It was right by the beach and the stay was unique. It was cute and clean. We has AC in the room, TV with Netflix, Google Home and even a purifier. So the place overall looks very cool and like a BOHO style interior. You are literally at the beach.

It is more expensive than the other hotels around but is not worth the difference. You can get the same value for almost half of the price for any surrounding hotel. There are not many people, and it is quiet, so nobody used the pool at night

Can’t really fault it much, the room was a bit dusty in places but apart from that it was fine and cleaned daily with fresh towels.

The staff were really friendly, food was excellent and the place had a really nice atmosphere. The location was great and really close to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Luggage racks for suitcases to get them off the floor and away from the ants. Wall hooks for clothes and other items. Towel rack or hook for towel in toilet room. Provide large bottle of water in fridge in room. Include a fruit and granola option included for breakfast. Sun umbrellas for pool area are greatly needed. People would buy more drinks in pool area if they could stay longer while the sun is out. Cushions in restaurant need cleaning because of dogs on them. Music speaker above check in desk needs to be moved. Can't hear what staff are saying during check in.

Manuel Antonio has many mountains. The location of the hotel close to the park is great. You can also walk to the beach. Staff was friendly. We could leave our luggage for a late departure. The room was a great surprise, clean and private (garden view). Highly recommended!

The breakfast was not good and the restaurant had really poor options of plates. Since we stayed for four nights, we left the hotel sick of the smells of the kitchen. A downside in a beautiful hotel.

The room was cosy and beautifully furnished. The swimming area was very nice, nice pool and plenty of plants!

The room was a little small when it comes to a place to put suitcases. The bathroom didn't really have space to hold extra things like shelves. The toilet had the worst pressure and was frustrating to use.

It was a very cute little spot, hostel vibes without being a hostel. The staff helped us parked, helped us with our luggage, and gave us a welcome drink. Everyone was super kind and really did their best to help us on our trip.

Our breakfast was included, but we had only a choice of different eggs/omelett/american eggs with toast and bacon/gallo pinto,.. They did not offer any fruits, yoghurt or anything else. It was necessary to ask for orange juice. If you do not like orange juice you have to pay. One day they had no orange juice, so you have to pay for another juice. We stayed there for 3 nights. When we had our last breakfast, the lady told me that I have to pay my breakfast tea. I informed her that I have never heard that if you drink a tea instead of a coffee for breakfast that you have to pay it.

Nice location nearby the beach. Nice small garden and pool. Rooms are very clean. We would recommend it but offer regarding their breakfast has to be changed.

Overall everything was really nice. But we were kind of disappointed that the plant based restaurant wasn't plant based at all. There were no vegan options on the menu (although they made something) and the world famous vegan chef seemed nowhere to be found. At breakfast when we wanted to order something vegan, it seems that we got less than the people with egg bacon etc. It would have been nice if we'd gotten the idea that the vegan option is a regular one too. Although we got some avocado, initially we were told that we had to pay for it. That was the only recommendation we would like to make.

The location and facilities were really perfect. We had a double bed and a room with two beds. They were both very good, the room with two beds with the garden view were bigger. We did not have any problem with the shower as many people write here. Airco was really well. Best we had. Everyday new towels. Monkeys in the trees every day. On my request my laundry was done for a very reasonable price. That was so helpful. Every morning we walked along the beach. Just 2 min along the path. I totally recommend.

No room service. They do take a long time to respond. For eg. It took a few days to hear back if they were able to book another night for us. That too the response was, we will check. In the meantime (the same day) I booked that xtra room through the site. Also when we reached there a few days later, the front desk did not have our 2nd day reservation, even though I had the confirmation. The breakfast is ok, nothing to rave about. No information about how deep the pool is. Communication is a challenge as they barely understand/ speak English.

The proximity to beach. It is just a few steps from the beach. Individual igloo shaped rooms. All the rooms face the swimming pool! Parking is next to the property. There is a staff members to help navigate it. He is really nice and courteous!

It was quite expensive for the amenities since it's about $30 less than the more luxury hotels that have a lot more to offer, but you pay for the uniqueness and location so we only stayed for 1 night.

Stylish, clean and unique compact lodge that super cute but also is easily accessible. The rooms are clean, minimal and very nice. Perfect for a short stay. Since it's right next to the beach you can leave all your stuff at home pop down there and back within minutes. It's also opposite a small convenience store, 5-10 min walk to all the restaurants and shops and a 20 min walk to the Manual Antonio Nature park. Pools were open all night (ish) so was nice to have a dip after a long day of hiking. It's also right next to the bus stop that goes into Quepos.

The water temperature and pressure in the showers were hit and miss. Restaurant can sometimes be short staffed leaving you having to wait a while for breakfast

The staff were nice and very helpful, nice little restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast included is great. Its a nice addition for the pool to be 24 hours! And of course the short distance to the lovely beach with a little supermarket opposite for supplies
