Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaNot easy to find, the area has no addresses. Missing 1 night stand in king bedroom with a lamp would be nice.
Close to La Fortuna waterfall and centre town. Basic cooking utensils and nice long bath towels. Comfortable beds and 1 is king size. Access to city bus. Air conditioning in each room.

United StatesJordi's house is amazing! We stay in LA fortuna all the time and this has been our favorite spot! The location is perfect, it's quiet, it's so clean and comfortable. If you have dogs this place is perfect! It's fully enclosed so you can let your dogs go out without worrying about them. That's a big deal for us with our 2 pugs because many places that allow dogs aren't fully enclosed. So we recommend Jordi's house. We loved it. And he was so kind and accommodating!

The locaion is away from the center of La Fortuna, we enjoyed the quietness. Washing machine is outdated, but functional, we were glad we were able to do laundry during the trip. The owner is attentive and helpful.

The location was great, outside the city just a bit, so very quiet, you can hear the nearby river flowing, very relaxing. We had all we needed in the house for cooking our own meals & it's close enough to the town to either walk (which we did not do), but it's a 5 min drive.

Lots of nearby activities, including whitewater rafting, sloth watching, ATVs to the Arenal Volcano, ziplining and more. Jordi's place was super clean and has everything you need. Beautiful garden with closing gate for pets.

Jordi’s House has a feel of a real Costa Rican home. The house is perfect for a family or for a couple who like quiet home-like feel. The kitchen had everything we needed. we bought fruits and cereal and had breakfast there. The owner provided Prime and Netflix access which was perfect for one of the evenings. The hammocks outside were so nice, we ended buying one like those to take home. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed a rooster alarming us at 4 am :):) Most importantly, the house was super clean, had a new feel to it and made us feel like the owner really wanted to provide the visitors with the best possible experience! The owner, Jordi, was very nice and accommodating (met us at the property when we arrived and showed us how to use the shower and other things) and was available in case we needed anything.

United StatesI can't think of one negative thing about my stay at Jordi's.
Jordi's house is on a tranquil road located just close enough to walk to some of the best areas in La Fortuna. The beds are so comfortable and it has all the amenities you need to feel right at home. The hammock seats out front are a great place to relax. We felt safe, comfortable, and relaxed the whole stay. Jordi is an amazing guy. Honestly the best host I've had in my entire month and a half in Costa Rica. Thank you Jordi for everything and I hope to be back soon!
