The hotel is located directly in the city Center. We loved the patio, where you could flee the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna or just rest after the tours to the volcano. You can book quite a few tours directly at the front desk. Special thanks to Maria, who was always there whenever questions arose. For all you backpackers out there: if you travel by bus, the bus terminal is only 5 minutes (by foot) away.

Little space, hotel is just for sleep and no parking at all. I had to pay another $20 for public parking that was located few squares of hotel location.

We were promised early breakfast before the resaurant opened on our last day. We even made an order the night before, but when we got there they did not have a clue about this and we checked out without breakfast. Not a big deal but we were a little bit dissapointed at the time.

When I arrived in the pouring rain at 6:30 pm, the entrance door was locked & no staff were there. After I stood outside in the rain knocking for at least 5 minutes, a kindly passerby on the street told me that I should go across the street to the La Vid Steakhouse. I did so and Jeremy, who appeared to be a head waiter, had my name and room key. He escorted me to my room and later gave me a welcome fruit juice drink. Also, my room had no toilet paper. Fortunately, there was a store around the corner where I was able to purchase some.

The staff was very nice. The hotel is as well in the central area, so it is very easy to reach all places. Breackfast were nice.

Was not informed of the side door, had to figure out our myself. Also, staff was not around when we checked out so I had to leave the key in the door and message afterwards, going that was ok. It would have been good to be told what to do if that happens.

The names of the rooms were cute and easy to remember. The included breakfast was good and located close by. Location is very central and quiet.

The bathroom was a little small, but this was the case for most hotels in Costa Rica. Other than that, it was really great!

Location is perfect, right in the center of town. Breakfast was delicious!!! Staff were very nice and kind and you could ask them anything and they tried to help. Coffee maker in the room and AC worked great. Room is also very spacious.
