The whole place is fantastic - green and private. The staff who took care of us were uber-friendly and helpful in every step of our stay - big thanks to them! The cabañas were quaint and spacious, we made good use of the patio in the evening and the insides of the room were also comfortable and convenient. The breakfast was delicious and served with obvious care - it's the little details and attitude that always make a hospitality experience special. We would come back with great pleasure!

This hotel was a great find. A short drive to the center of La Fortuna. It is on the road to get the La Fortuna Waterfall. We got to stay in some of the newly constructed cabins. Comfortable beds and ac. Great little front porches to sit on. Great was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. And they have a parking lot. Peaceful escape from the very touristy La Fortuna area.

It is a bit further to the city center, but with car it poses no issues - there are restaurants and a supermarket in a walking distance

We were accomodated in completely new casitas, which was great! The staff was helpful and the breakfast was nice.

1. Give yourself time for breakfast. It wasn't always super quick, the ordering part. 2. There is nowhere to hang anything. No hooks, no closet.  3. Staff availability can be low at times. Our room wasn't cleaned one day (no big deal).  We had spilled something in the morning and needed all new bedding and it ended up taking over an hour for someone to bring us bedding. 

This place is beautiful. The location is great. Close to two great restaurants and a convenience store. We saw a monkey two of the three days right outside our bungalow. Birds are everywhere. Comfy bed. Great bathroom with a huge walk-in shower. Breakfast is wholesome. A tip for the rooms: there are about five bungalows near reception and the breakfast room. There are also about seven bungalows at the back of the property. Choose those ones if possible (but it is a bit more walking if you have difficulty with mobility). They have built and are still building brand new ones in the back.

Perfect location, very clean and comfortable rooms, amazing gardens. The property is very well taken cre off. Friendly staff and good breakfast. 5min away from La fortuna waterfalls and El salto with car. 30min away from mistico hanging bridges with car.

We stayed in a wonderful new lodge with a great view of the beautiful garden. We even saw tucans and hummingbirds on the premises.

It would’ve been nice to have a full length mirror and a do not disturb sign for the door, but these are very minor and did not detract from my stay at all.

Beautiful property with lovely staff! They were accommodating, kind, and made me feel very welcome there. The bungalow I stayed in was really cute and I enjoyed my stay. It’s within walking distance of a cute restaurant called Chante verde, and if you need to go to town it’s a short Uber ride away. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Can't think of anything!

Absolutely beautiful and tranquil, this little bit of heaven is what we came for in Costa Rica! The host was kind and warm and the breakfast was fantastic. Just down the street from the delightful Rainforest Chocolate Tour (do not miss!!) and the Chante Verde restaurant -amazingly good. Would highly recommend.

The rooms are not too far from the road and the cabins are not very sound proof. Could hear the cars and sometimes very loud motorcycles on the road, even during the night. Rain can also be very loud. Woke me up a few times one night and couldn't sleep past 7, and I'm not a light sleeper. Definitely recommend bringing ear plugs.

The staff were very friendly to me and breakfast was great with western/local options. The property is very natural and not too far from downtown (5-10 min uber).

We had a minor problem with check-in, they didn't wait for us at the agreed time. Unfortunately, we didn't have mobile data, and we didn't know the password for the local wifi. It turned out well in the end.

My stay at the nice cabin was lovely. Surrounded by nature, the atmosphere was serene. Waking up to hummingbirds in the morning was delightful. Breakfast was tasty, a perfect start to the day. Overall, a peaceful retreat worth recommending.

If you’re using the shower, use the hot water with lower flow to increase the temperature. Everything else was very good.

We were a little concerned that the window in the bathroom didn't have a screen BUT we didn't have any bugs or geckos in the room at all so I guess the wooden slates must do the job! We did keep the bathroom door closed.

We stayed in a brand new bungalow at the back end of the property and it was wonderful! It was very clean, beautifully decorated and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is close enough to the main part of town but it feels a world away. The grounds are nicely landscaped and there are birds, including toucans, everywhere. The staff is exceptional! They even installed a hanging rack one day when we casually recommended that the room had more places to hang wet items. The breakfast was great also.

The property was beautiful and the staff were so kind. However the room did not lock securely and there was a leak in the ceiling. Luckily it was a small leak and there were only small drops on the floor and not near the bed.

Rain was loud on the roof. Front door didn’t feel secure for safety reasons. But we didn’t run into any trouble, were just being paranoid

Breakfast was great. Location was great - right next to several places - chocolate tour, zip lining, el change verde for dinner, a night walk at Papas place, etc Lots of pretty birds like humming birds around the property. The landscaping here is really beautiful with nice plants and trees

We loved seeing the monkeys in the trees right outside of our villa. The bed was super comfortable and we loved the waterfall shower. Breakfast was yummy and they had three options to choose from. Karen and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
