Nothing, all was amazing!

A little piece of paradise! Amazing value for the price you pay. We stayed here on our honeymoon and were absolutly astonished. Special thanks to the wonderful staff Anna, Allan, Charlie and Arlen, who made us feel at home and connected with us as meeting old friends. The whole place looks like from a movie. Restaurant serves delicious foods and has everynight live music (19-21) We were proposed 2 free tours, one during noon to watch birds and sloths and one in the evening (19:15) to watch frogs and snakes, we took the evening one and it was amazing. The pool area is wonderful and you can play pool and ping-pong. There were 4 sloths living in the gardens and you could watch them trough a scope anytime during day. They serve one of the best coffees we tasted and breakfast to die for. I know this review sounds like payed ad but it’s not :D We were very happy there. Pura vida!

- rooms are actually like private villas, very large and more charming than the pictures - shower view is great! - super fast room service - nice pool and seats - very good breakfast - super convenient location to access volcano Arenal - GREAT nightwalk with Randall to see wildlife at night and frogs! We learnt a lot and Randall was super friendly, very nice moment - the park of the hotel with all these sloths !! - great welcome at the reception thanks to Kevin who explained us everything - lots of activities suggested and great recommendations

Our only complaint is that Noah's makes other places pale in comparison.

Our stay with Noah's Forest was exceptional! We arrived from Liberia in the evening in the dark so when I went out the first morning the extraordinary beauty took my breath away! The grounds are incredible and lovingly cared for by Modesto, the gardener. Modesto is very warm and friendly and clearly loves his work. He delights in showing guests the sloths and other wildlife residing on the property. In our case he brought 2 rare and colourful frogs to show us - a real highlight. The staff, Allan, Camila and Anna went above and beyond the entire time we were visiting to make sure we were happy with everything. They were warm, helpful and genuine in all of our interactions. The tour of the property with Camila was lovely - she was knowledgeable and generous with information about not only the flora and fauna but also the history and the culture. We also attended a night tour at Noah's sister property owned by Tifakara and it was a real highlight. We saw awesome frogs and other creatures. I was so good that if we had more time we would have definitely have gone again, ( Both tours are complimentary for hotel guests) The restaurant at the resort is also excellent . Breakfast is included and offers many delicious choices. The servers were warm and attentive ( thank you Jay!) Dinner was excellent and there was high quality live entertainment. to make it even more pleasant. Overall our stay with Noah's exceeded our expectations. We were sad to leave and say goodby to the lovely staff. I hope we'll return one dayl

Fabulous small hotel, beautiful garden, very nice staff (thank you Allan!), food was delicious (sometimes for a long wait but the place is so nice), nice singer every night, easy to go to the village of La Fortuna (5mn by taxi - 20mn walking).. We took a bedroom with a spa, fantastic to go in after a full day walking! They did book tour for us, easy process and we did a massage in our room with Reborn Spa, fantastic!

The price was a bit steep, but overall we are glad to have stayed there. It was a special treat.

The rooms and hotel property are gorgeous, we loved everything about it. The breakfast was excellent with many choices to choose from. It was my birthday and the hotel went above and beyond to make my day special. We also loved the live music at dinner.

Minor quibble, but 2 chairs in room not comfortable

Staff was fantastic, very welcoming and professional, from the front desk to the waiters at breakfast, but especially the groundskeeper, who not only keeps the place looking like a jungle garden of Eden but takes great delight in pointing out wildlife.

Noah’s MAGICAL forest would be a better name! The hotel is situated in a beautiful forest, just outside of the busy town. You don’t notice you are just outside of La Fortuna, you feel in another world. Tasty breakfast, freshly made. Staff is kind and helpful. Rooms are spacious, clean - you have your own small private house ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Noah’s Forest which was perfect from start to finish. It’s a truly magical setting with wildlife (inc Sloths!) and stunning plants and flowers all around. We spent peaceful time in the sun at the pool in between trips out and enjoyed resting in our bungalow and hot tub! Special mention to Charlie in the restaurant who was a true professional, and a brilliant cocktail maker. And to Fernanda who gave us a warm welcome and did so much to make our trip really special. Our favourite stop in Costa Rica and would love to come again!

Bugs and ants in the room. To get hot water in the shower you have to use the lowest water pressure.

The only negative is that we found the restaurant quite expensive for the quality of food. Breakfast was excellent but our dinner there wasn’t the best. However it’s a short drive into town where there are lots of places to eat.

The property is so beautiful, the staff take so much care for the plants and wildlife. Every day we spotted sloths, iguanas, hummingbirds and toucans thanks to the staff helping to point them out to us. Highly recommend doing the free tours the hotel offers - Josue our guide was fantastic and had so much knowledge. Everything was so clean, modern and we didn’t want to leave!
