the bungalow doesn’t have many sound insulation. there’s a hostel right next to our bungalow and they had pool party overnight till 4am one day it’s really loud.

small installment with friendly service, great location and clean room. we saw bunch of birds and frogs just walking around the room. short walk to grocery store and good restaurant. the owner provided abundant information of local attractions which was helpful.

Lighting - daytime natural lighting is amazing, but at nighttime the cabin can be a bit dark/depressing. Would be nice if the lights in the room were brighter. Beds are super comfy but they do creak and walls are also thin enough so you can unfortunately hear your adjoining cabin neighbor at times, but when I stayed all guests were super respectful and quiet and the noise wasn’t anything bothersome.

I would hands down recommend this place and would book here the next time I’m back in La Fortuna. All the positive reviews I read were spot-on. Carla and her staff were amazing - providing tons of information on things to do, responsive by what’s app, super friendly and communicative and helpful. The bungalows are brand new, spotlessly and impeccably clean (not an insect seen even!), and the bed sooo comfortable! The highlight was sleeping at night to the sounds of nature and waking up and eating breakfast on my own private balcony! So centrally located and close to everything (waterfall, hanging bridges, popular thermal springs). Such incredible value for money.

The wardrobe finishing was not good, and thus it was not possible to open and close properly the sliding doors.

The bungalow style of the accommodation is very nice. The kitchen area provides almost everything you need.

The value for a very spacious, clean and comfortable bungalow is unbeatable. Bed was super comfy, big bathroom with a huge shower. Everything was very clean, and fridge sink coffee machine kitchen area well equiped. Location is about 5 minutes drive from town, we didn't have a car but you can Uber everywhere here very easily. Just down the road from Chante Verde which was a fantastic restaurant! This is definitely the best value for quality stay we had in 2 weeks in Costa Rica!

Forget about the 1.5 km to the center. Honestly is it 2.5 km (app. 25-30 min walk). If you don’t come by car consider the fact that no public bus is running locally. The freelancer transport service with 4 letters is unofficial available, but don’t be frustrated when u got cancelled sometimes (bcs of police operation). Taxis from the city no problem but you have to tell them the way.

The houses are nice and very clean. Staff was very friendly and we loved our stay there. If u don’t have a car you can use the freelancer services (not allowed - if you found a good one) as well to get around to the Vulcano ( we went to Observatory Lodge good place and just 15 p.P. entry Trails, hanging bridge, waterfall nice vulcano view (if not in clouds) or to El Choyin (hot spring -free). Mini market 5 min walking distance.

The bungalow was lovely, comfortable bed, coffee machine in room, loved having the refrigerator so we could keep drinks cold. nice having a covered balcony to sit outside. staff were excellent, very welcoming and very helpful loved our stay, approx 1 mile out of town taxis £2 one way - local restaurant & supermarket 5 mins walk away.

We booked two bungalows for our family of 5 for two nights. We enjoyed this place a lot! The location was great, there was a food store next to it and just 5 mins drive to the city center with a lot of shops and restaurants. Very good service, it was nice to receive an additional mattress)

Everyone at the bungalows was so kind and Carla was extremely helpful, she sent us some great suggestions for sightseeing/activities/restaurants. The location is a little bit outside of the main townsite of La Fortuna, which made it very quiet and relaxing. Super easy to get to town by cab/uber/a 20 minute walk, close to many activities like coffee and chocolate tours and you are surrounded by stunning views of the volcanos. And there is an excellent place to eat (El Chante Verde) just down the road.

We had an amazing stay and extended therefor one night! Thw bungalows are beautiful and clean and it was the best bed where we slept in here. We loved our mornings at the terasse surrounded by humming birds. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. We dropped my earrings into the sink and they helped us getting them back! We loved it and would recommend everybody to stay here for a wonderful time.

The location is quite and the bungalows are surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. You can see a lot of birds like Hummingbirds & Toucans. Thank you to Carla the owner, who drove us to the medical center after my wife injured her shoulder in an accident.

The manager and the housekeeper were both super friendly and awesome. I had an issue with the TV and they got it fixed while I was on a tour. They were very nice to my son and accommodating. Would highly recommend!
