It is out of town and some people might not be happy with this. For us it was not an issue at all

Lovely place to stay. Nice swimming pool for kids. Everything works well. A bit far out of town but that was no issue for us - we needed a walk!

Nothing. It would be far to walk from town if you don't have a car. We had a car though so it was fine.

The breakfast was simple but good. Good value. Good beds. Good size apartment. Lots of parking.

Pool was a bit dirty on the first day so I didn’t want to swim, the location is a bit far but I still walked everywhere

Neighbours have a rooster with a strange hoarse voice. It was fun to listen to him :D He can wake you up early.

Nice stay! Very helpful staff, especially Hugo who helped us with all the tours and transportation. All tour operators make pick up from the place so it did not matter that hotel is a bit further from town. AC was nice to have too.

The water in the pool was not great when we arrived but we noticed they cleaned it for the second day of our stay.

The place was clean and the location was good for us as we wanted a quiet place for our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a problem with some ants in the room but they helped us in real time. They have a pool with a view over the volcano that we really enjoyed. Breakfast was really good to have.

hard to find because it was down a gravel road (map takes you to dead end), critters easily enter the room (had two cockroaches, a toad, and a gecko come visit us).

Two small things would improve the room a lot: - Mosquito nets im front of the windows and some sealing under the door. We had quite some mosquitos and ants in the room as well as three cockroaches, which crawled in in the evening. Towels under the door helped. - A few hooks or bars to hang things on. There is nothing like that in the room not even in the bathroom.

- The host was very friendly and gave a lot of tips what to do and where to eat. We felt very welcomed. - Different sitting possibilities around the building - Common kitchen with big fridge - Three options for breakfast all of them homemade. Option 2 was very good. - Comfy bed - AC - Fridge in the room - Large shower - Neighborhood is quite calm and we slept really well

The room is super comfy. Cute view of the garden. The breakfast was yummy. Good price for the quality you have. Hugo and the staff are amazing. It’s a quiet place to have a good rest at night. Definitely will stay again!

If you are using waze as a navigation app, as you near the street where the property is located, it thinks it is a dead end and waze will tell you to turn around. just have people know you must continue down the street to get to the place

If you don't have a car, the location might be an issue. However, most of the tours are picking up from the hotel anyway. Also, we heard that the main road is very noisy so people sleep with earplugs. I'd chose the same location.

Hugo was very very helpful. He made many suggestions and arranged attractions for us which were fantastic! Breakfast was good, and we even saw parrot while having breakfast :)

The distance to town makes it a bit harder to get in and experience the city life if that is also something you want.

it would be nice to get juice and coffee not only one or the other for breakfast - they were very strict about this. also the WiFi signal was not great at times but to be expected in the rainforest

None of the appliances in the room worked as such. They had some sort of cleaning room and sink outside the main bathroom which was an eyesore and dirty. They also have a chicken farm on the property o it sometimes smell bad by the pool. They coul dhave cleaned the room a bit better.

breakfast was awesome and the staff is also very good. They have lots of trees and birds on the property. The family who runs is does not speak english but are very nice and made our stay pleasant.
