we loved our stay. constructive criticism: it needs some love. i believe they are working on it as Charlie was there full time fixing and painting. it will just get better. the pool getting in is a bit dangerous as there isn’t a railing and stairs are a bit slippery I would hate to see someone get hurt. happy hr drinks were the smallest we had in all of the area.

that is was right beside the park. we walked out in the morning to go in the gates next door, no worrying about lineups. we saw park animals right at our hotel pool!!! the pool was a refreshing treat!

The whole staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is literally next to the park and you'll be able to spot some wildlife easily. It's also a few minutes walk to the beach. The free breakfast was also tasty and filling.

The location adjacent to park was nice for wildlife but bustle of incoming traffic to park every morning was way more than i expected although back in room it was not noticable

The location and breakfast were great. Staff member, Eric, was exceptional, and not only gave excellent service, but was a truly nice guy. Whatever he did, he gave his best. We also loved the access to the beaches, and didn’t even bother with the crowds swarming into the jungle. We had already enjoyed several wonderful jungle excursions during our three weeks in CR. So, all in all, a nice, restful affordable stay at the end of our journey. Gracias!

The street in front of the hotel gets really busy during the park’s opening hours, (you couldn’t hear it from inside the hotel), but if you have a car the parking situation can be complicated during those times. Luckily the staff were helpful and we were able to park in the spot right in front of the hotel.

We loved our stay at La Posada Jungle. It was a real haven of peace and just what we needed after some adventuring in La Fortuna and Monteverde. Conveniently located right next to the national park, and a 5 min walk to the beach. There are a few options for good restaurants really close by too and a supermarket right next door. We have seen more wildlife in the hotel than in the national park! Cappuccino monkeys were part of our day to day there, as well as deer, raccoons, Iguanas and an agouti. We stayed 5 nights and felt right at home. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and we loved having the little terrace with the hammock, and be able to walk straight into the pool from the room. The breakfast was really good too.

You can’t beat the location of this amazing place! The staff is accommodating and helpful, we returned for another 3 day stay and it felt like home. Proximity to the Manuel Antonio National Park makes it just out of this world with the wild life just outside your window! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Meticulously clean. We definitely will be back again!

it was a cute little hotel with very helpful staff. And there were cute little monkeys around the property every afternoon, which I loved. it was also really close to the National Park which was handy.

I liked everything

The hotel couldn’t have been closer to the beautiful nature reserve! The staff were lovely and attentive, one was particularly enthusiastic about showing me the local nature which was a nice touch.

Location is literally next door to the national park entrance and 10 min walk to the beach, very spacious room, hot shower with good water pressure, friendly staff, there is a convenience store and some restaurants very close by, wifi and AC worked well.

Even though the rooms are separated and not next to each other, there is a lot of noise at night, coming from aircon engines, fridges from the very close supermarket, from workers cleaning the street etc. Ear plugs are very recommended. Internet was very weak in the room, good in common areas. but I hope you don't need internet that much while there! Enjoy the rain forest, the beach, the animals

I liked the garden a lot, so green and fresh. Hammock was appreciated in the front door. Room was big enough. Aircon and fan well working, fridge and TV too. super comfy shower, with real, constant pressure and hot water. Mosquito nets in the bathroom's windows. Beds were comfy enough and 2 pillows per person. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with a few different choices, all good! coffee facility in the room! Staff was very helpful and flexible. hand sanitizer everywhere available for customers. The place needs some refurbishment but everything works well overall, it's a place where there is a lot of humidity, so all properties are similar and look worn out. I would stay again, comparing comfort, location, staff and price, with what Manuel Antonio area offers. Plus you are 100% in the national park. animals come to the garden, it's so fun

We spent the first night in the Jungle Suite but my husband was very unhappy here as he likes to sit outside the room and enjoy the view. However, this room is tucked away with no view at all. The wonderful staff were able to change our room after the first night to one with a great view from the balcony. We were so grateful!

Excellent location, right next to the Park so animals, especially monkeys came swinging in from the trees. Lovely refreshing pool and great view from the balcony if you're in one of those rooms. Good breakfast. Staff really helpful. Good choice of nearby restaurants.
