Door codes are used for both the main gate and the 7 rooms. Our door code was so easy we could have guessed the others (though I may be wrong!), so perhaps using a more difficult combination would improve security. With that said, we never felt unsafe!

This exceeded our expectations! From the friendly arrival (with coco loco!) to the jacuzzi, the friendly & efficient cleaning staff, and the excellent communication, our stay was perfect. Such comfortable beds! We also loved sitting outside and watching the hummingbirds buzzing around the garden. Location close to the main square with easy access to restaurants and shops. There is a small mini fridge and coffee maker in the room, and the spotless shared kitchen has everything else you need.

We enjoyed our stay at Suwa Villa Arenal a lot! The room was very clean und the staff very friendly. Comfortable beds, good shower, quiet coom, close to the center and hotspots (restaurants, sights). The atmosphere is cozy, we received a warm welcome and we felt at ease right away. Possibility to wash clothes, great!! Well-equipped kitchen for everyone to use. We would recommand Suwa Villa to everyone. Thanks for everything! :)

It was just perfect! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay in la fortuna. And all that for a very reasonable price. Excellent!

Nothing much to not like.

We liked the stay so much we booked another night. The rooms are what you are in the photos but they are perfectly sized for a couple. And the facility is clean and has free laundry service. Which my wife and I loved. When we came there after a long day of travel they greeted us with a fresh coconut welcome drink which was chilled! Exactly what we needed. I think you won't go wrong with this one. The restaurant next to this place has good tasty breakfast with chill vibes.

Bed was a little too hard, smell from cleaning supplies when arrived was too strong, room when arrived was so hot it took very long to cool down. Noise from local vehicles was annoying especially in early morning.

New, modern, great concept and great intercity location. Loved the room, separate patio, landscaping, and security. Staff was great. Nice, convenient, free laundry machines.

The location was great, right in the centre of La Fortuna. The rooms felt luxurious when compared with other accommodations in the area. Fernando was so kind and helpful, he helped arrange our activities and was great to talk to. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Only because i am a really light sleeper but won’t discount from the score, there was a noise from when someone in the other room was using the bathroom, kind of like a generator.

Super clean, hot water, soft towels, really comfortable and smartly built, lovely little backyard in the room, coffee machine in the room, nice toiletries, peaceful and amazing staff

My wife and I visited in early December 2023, and I can't say enough about how great Suwa Villa was. The location is excellent, safe, and near plenty of shops and restaurants. The room was clean, cozy, modern, and had A/C. The hotel has a shared kitchen outfitted with all the necessary equipment. There is even a washer and dryer for guests to use. I also can't compliment the owners, Jorge and Allan, enough. They are very knowledgeable about the area and helped us choose and book our activities. They welcomed us with fresh coconut water and made our stay very pleasant. They really care for their guests. We made wonderful memories at this hotel and appreciate all the wonderful things that Allan and Jorge did for us. We are looking forward to our next visit to this hotel.

This property was definitely a highlight of Costa Rica for us. It is close to town but still feels like you’re immersed in nature. The communal kitchen and laundry means the place feels like home and they’re well appointed. The hosts are incredible and can help you organise and transport or tours you’re interested in. The rooms are so comfortable and luxurious and the price is incredible for what you get!
