Bad road to get there.

The location was a little removed, but that was the best aspect. Everything well organized. The breakfast was a nice basket of goodies Loved the place.

The bumpy roads leading up to the suites.

Staying at Arenal Roca Suites in La Fortuna was truly a mesmerizing experience. The tranquility of the surroundings, with views of the majestic volcanoes and abundant wildlife, made it a perfect getaway. The off-the-beaten-path location added a sense of adventure to the trip. The seamless travel from San Jose and the amenities provided by the suite enhanced the overall stay. Highly recommend for those seeking a unique and relaxing escape.

Humid house, difficult to ventilate. We could not keep the windows open due to broken mosquito nets. Also we had some ants inside the coffee machine and all around the room. The kitchenware to cook was very limited (but functional). Breakfast also rather simple continental. We stayed in lodge nr 7 and had fruits from the nearby tree making a lot of noise on the roof. Bring earplugs if this bothers you at night. 4WD for the accessing road recommended. Very poor wifi. Despite these minor negative points, we enjoyed our 3-days stay and would book the accomodation again.

Peacefull setting with breathtaking view from your bed and terrace. Good location if you enjoy being a bit away from the crowd (30 min La Fortuna, 20 min different Parks & activities and next to Mistico bridges).

The distance from town and the road to get to the property is very rough.

The intimacy of the place is wonderful. AMAZING views of Arenal Volcano. Tons of wildlife and nature around.

Be prepared for the last 2km of unpaved road. Could be challenging for a not Offroad usable vehicle. Huge rocks and deep potholes.

While it was nice to minimize screen time, The wifi in lodge #1 worked only when sitting outside in the patio as the signal was very weak

Great remote location, in a quiet place, out of crowds, with amazing views on Volcano Arenal. Ahrim the host was really friendly and accommodating!

Breakfast!!! Please don’t offer it if you can’t fulfill your promises. First day ok we were given the choice of a basket breakfast or go to the hanging bridges restaurant, I was given one token, and we successfully had breakfast but the waitress insisted on taking our token. Day 2 as we had a early coffee tour so we opted for the basket breakfast which never turned up Day 3 we asked for a restaurant token but was told they didn’t have any tokens so just turn up, bearing in mind we only gained entrance to the park because of the token on the first day and the waitress insisted on only allowing us breakfast if she took the token, I couldn’t risk taking the word of the receptionist so we simply made breakfast ourselves at the cabin.

A fantastic location, with a magnificent view of the volcano simply stunning. The cabin is clean modern and well designed, with a lovely nature walk in to the jungle behind the cabins. The wild life was better than the parks!!! An amazing location. What ever I say in the negative part of this review it’s well worth staying there.

The road. I don't think it's a minus of suites. You just need to know about it and choose a suitable car or drive the last 2 km really carefully. The kitchen equipment is basic, not enough for cooking.

The location is amazing. For breakfast, you have 2 options : delivery service and restaurant. The distance to the restaurant is 2km from the suites, but with more options to choose.

Very foggy, a long was with no view of the volcano. Probably like that most days. The road was awful and the warnings were appropriate.

Beautiful landscaping and many birds in the area. Nice hottub in the room. AC worked great. The free breakfast at the restaurant up the road was great.

No WiFi available despite advertising that it was for cabin 3. Warm water didn’t last, was not able to fill the tub because water turned cold. The road to property was very bumpy.

Breakfast at the Hanging bridges was a little disappointing. My eggs were almost raw and when I asked for them cooked a tiny bit more they came back like concrete. One rasher of bacon and one hash brown. No tea on offer only coffee or watered down orange juice, not both. Clearly they are cutting back on the pictures previous guests had posted. It was ok but a little disappointing We also found the layout a little strange. The seating area facing a brick wall whilst the bed has the view but everyone has the view of you in bed 🥴if you don’t pull the curtains.

The view was simply stunning. It was immaculately clean. The staff extremely helpful and let us check in early. Great to get up and do the Hanging bridges before the hordes arrived. Still worth every penny despite my observations below.

Last couple km of road requires SUV, but is manageable.

Nice cabanas, great view, helpful staff, Away from the beaten path, yet close to Mistico Park. Included breakfast is at Mistico Park, which is perfect after an early morning hike. Bird watching on grounds is great. Dinner can be delivered from La Fortuna.

The road leading to it was so rough that we only left and came back once a day, the breakfast was offsite which was a surprise very small towels until the last day we were giving big beautiful towels...

The suite was spacious, the hot tub was wonderful, it was quiet and removed from the craziness of Fortuna, great view of the volcano, breakfast delicious in a beautiful setting but was off site where the listing says its in the suite.

Road to get there was hellacious. Iffy hot water. Kitchen could have a few more amenities (one K cup per person was kind of stingy. Luckily we went into town the next day and bought coffee and filters). It was very inconvenient for other activities.

Awesome view, clean rooms and kitchen. Far away from traffic noise! Close to the Mistico Hanging Bridges.

The view of the volcano is spectacular. they used to leave breakfast on the patio for you. But it attracted animals. The breakfast is now up at another place but is delicious. Such a beautiful place to stay and so charming.
