the Wi-Fi was not strong in the room and I had no internet connection with my cell phone provider so I needed to be on the kitchen or restaurant area if I needed to communicate with family.

Not many bicycles are available.

The hotel is located a bit outside of the town, roughly 20 min walk. You can hear the howler monkeys for a wake up call. We were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel also offers bicycles for free to get around.

Really great pool area and kitchen facilities, with lovely bird life in the surroundings. Apartment was clean and comfortable, and the parking was very secure at night.

It is quite a walk to the Osa Lodge from the ferry dock and also to the beach.

We booked the Osa Lodge because it is walking distance fronthe kayak excursion establishment. We had a reservation there for a mangrove jungle tour. Very heavy rains were coming on Wednesday so we were able to change our reservations to Tuesday at the last minute. The staff were extremely helpful.

It is far-ish from town and a bumpy road to get there-but that adds to the quietness.

One reason I picked this place was for the pool and it is a small but very welcoming place where I was happy to land after the drive to Puerto J. Shady trees surround and we saw birds right from there. The bungalows are comfy and the ac works great, but the fan kept us cool at night just fine. Our hostess was wonderful, too! Thanks for the coffee in the am and use of the shared kitchen.

Not clean enough, especially not the cooking area and utensils. Internet doesn’t get to the bedrooms at all, which is not nice given that there’s no reception in the area either. The pool area is absolutely dark at night, we asked and they said the pools lights were out of order. The whole place needs maintenance, but it is expected since it is cheap, so you get what you pay for.

it is nice to hear the birds and monkeys around the property. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool while looking at the different species in the surroundings.

This was such a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was clean and smelled absolutely wonderful. The garden was a small paradise with lots of lizards and monkeys and birds in the trees. The pets (little fluffy dog Bruno and cat Gatita) really made our stay perfect for our kids! The owner was very sweet.

The room smelled a bit musty and was dated. It needs a bit of freshening up. I was charged $74 when on booking.com the fee was@$67 including tax. Too tired to challenge we arrived. Not on my list of likes.

the woman that runs this didn’t seem to care that she messed up. she tried to help find us another place, but she speaks very little English and fast Spanish. I ended up having to find a new place on my own.

our first night was fine, but when we came back after a night it Corcovado we found that she had double booked our room and we had to find a different place. she barely apologised. also, the communal kitchen was not well stocked. room was small and no hot water.

Cabin door not closing properly, resulting in lots of bugs in the room, covering you at night. Curtains not blinding at all, when lights on; no privacy.

The lodge was quite far out of town (further than it looks on a map because you have to walk around the airport). It was quite basic so I think it was perhaps a bit overpriced.

It looks like the lodge is working only partially. Restaurant was closed, we came late wanted to have a dinner. Staff was friendly ordered something for us. There was no breakfest either, apart from coffee. We havent seen any other torists, only a lot of cleaning staff everywhere. There was no toaletries, no place to put our own cosmetics. Outside there were nice plants, but no grass just black soil.
