The dinner buffet could have been better, but very good considering it’s a buffet. I would suggest ordering from menu for better quality. Regardless, the service and staff were excellent.

Excellent location very close to volcano. The hot spring pools with different temperatures were above expectations. Beautiful vegetation throughout the grounds.

We did want to take a swim and enjoy a mimosa before our 12:00 check out but unfortunately they don’t serve alcohol at the swim up bar until after 11.

For breakfast there were choices of cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, pancakes, eggs, sausage, plantain, and the Costa Rican rice. They also had coffee, and juices. The staff always went above and beyond and the spa was a dream! I highly recommended getting a massage then dipping into one of the 7 hot spring pools, you will feel like a new person!

Nothing at all

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at Paradise Hot Springs. The hot springs are wonderful. The food is great. We stayed in the best room on the resort which I think was room 31. It had an unobstructed view of the volcano, a private balcony up top with a hot tub. We’re definitely staying there again when we come back to La Fortuna. We forgot our wireless Bose speaker in our room and the staff at Paradise had it sent to Tamarindo the very next day. They went above and beyond for us and we are very thankful!

Day pass visitors overran the property at times. When buses of visitors came they changed the whole ambiance of the place and probably outnumbered guests 10 to 1. Usable peaceful hot spring times were very limited to early mornings and late evening.

Staff was friendly, housekeeping was good, property was kept very clean and during non pass hours it was very peaceful and serene. Breakfast was simple but had tasty options for everyone.

we did not enter some of the hotsprings because they were quite dark in the evening and one could not really tell if they are clean or not.

Second time here, Paradise does not disappoint!! This is our destination place for hot springs!! Paradise is located near other hot springs that offer day passes (Paradise offers day passes too), something we were going try during this trip. However, Paradise had everything we needed and more; we had no desire to leave the property. The room accommodations are extremely comfortable, clean (and I am a clean/neat freak) and spacious. My husband loves the TV that you can actually see. The room layout and the bathroom area is practical and utilizes space efficiently. For two people, we highly recommend the junior suites. The staff is stellar; gracious, helpful, friendly and polite. EVERYTHING worked - from the WiFi to the hot showers. The included hot breakfast is plentiful, with a variety of options AND they offer a different variety daily. The swim up bar provided great drinks and lunch options. Room service at night spoiled us completely!! The various hot springs pools are clean, well appointed and absolutely amazing!! They are strategically located close to the rooms, with plant barriers for privacy. All in all a consistent, amazing experience. As usual, we wanted to stay much longer.... HIGHLY recommended to all.....this is truly PARADISE on earth!!!!

The food. The restaurant menu is poor quality. Exact same breakfast daily and the quality is below low. Some of the reception staff are pretty rude and do not seem to want to help. They are very introverted and seem almost afraid to be approached for some who is in the hospitality business. Not very outgoing.

The location is excellent. The facility is nice, cozy, and charming. Loved the pools. Not worth a day pass. Best to just stay. The spa facility was amazing due to Ana Molina's amazing experience and dedication. Ana (my masseuse) was absolutely wonderful. She really made my stay and trip a memorable one.

for a younger couple, we wished there was more of a night life at the pool/bar, as everything closed at 9. we would have enjoyed the amenities there rather than leaving to go off-site.

Great location (close to volcano, zip lining, and rio Celeste waterfall), beautiful landscape, and warm hot spring pools. also amazing view of the volcano from the top deck.

Excellent breakfast. The design of the hot springs was done very nicely. Felt like you could find your own private spot, never felt crowded, good drinks at the swim-up bar. The spa treatment was relaxing and professional. The room was very nice and clean, with a huge bathroom and very comfortable bed.

restaurant was a big expensive but other than that we were very happy with our stay!

We were originally in the junior suite which was lovely with a great view from the roof. However, we found that a surprising number of ants were coming in (more than what you would expect being out in the jungle). The hotel staff were very accommodating and came to spray but it didn't really help. There was also a weird smell coming from the construction they are doing to make a viewpoint to the volcano. That being said, when we told the staff about these issues, they were nothing short of AMAZING. they offered us to upgrade for free to a nicer room without any ant issues and further away from the smell. We also were offered free massages. they truly went above and beyond to make it right. Also, the facilities in general are amazing. The staff was so nice, the hot springs were the best way to end the day, the gym was awesome, the restaurant was nice. We truly had an amazing time. and the ceviche at the restaurant was the best I've ever had in my life

they had construction right outside our room starting at 7am that woke us up but the staff relocated us immediately and made our staff fantastic!

the property had a great location next to all our excursions. The rooms and resort were absolutely beautiful with a great view of the volcano! The different temperatures of hot springs and pool were great along with the swim up bar. the resort was smaller so it was quiet and peaceful. the staff was also amazing and helpful!

That we had to leave!

I am so glad I chose this resort. It was breathtaking and beautiful beyond expectations. Gorgeous overly spacious rooms with fantastic beds! The food - delicious - the people friendly and helpful - the grounds pure beauty - the hot springs were perfect and so many to use. If they rented by the month I'd move in. STAY HERE!!!
