2 cars were parked in the driveway that left no room to walk through with a small suitcase and nobody Did anything to correct it.

All comfort needs met and plenty of wildlife in area.

Nothing that comes to mind, there was even hot water to shower with!

Perfect stay. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The garden setting is beautiful. Shower great. Staff friendly. Jim helped us buy bus tickets to San Jose, which we really appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the convenience of the location. Close to the supermarket and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the falafel place down the road. Would thoroughly recommend.

Apartment is a little dated but this didn't affect our stay and we would stay again!

Our apartment was spacious, comfortable & clean. Our favourite part was the large balcony where we could relax and listen to the birds, we saw several toucans, scarlett macaws and turkey vultures to name a few (recommend bringing binoculars on your trip to Costa Rica!). Kitchen had all equipment we needed. The staff were very friendly and we did a tour of the national park with George on their recommendation & it was excellent. You can easily get a bus to & from the beach for ~75cents, or walk down early in the morning to avoid the peak heat, beautiful walk on which we spotted sloths, monkeys & iguanas. Many thanks!

Great two night stay at PoP. Staff went above and beyond for our honeymoon stay, Emmanuel especially was fantastic - ask him to hook you up with George for a tour of the National Park, best money we spent, thanks Emmanuel! Jim the GM is great too. We ended up in a different room as work was being done on our booked one and stayed in one of the "deluxe double rooms". Great modern facilities with plenty of wildlife in the garden. Location perfect as out the way of main town, great sodas and cheap eats nearby with supermarket. Would 100% stay again.

Absolutely nothing

The property was lovely and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The bed was so comfortable, we all slept really well. The garden is like a mini jungle and we saw an amazing amount of wildlife. Squirrel monkeys, white faced monkeys, a toucan, lizards, an agouti, 2 lovely red parrots. It really was a piece of paradise.

Nice location. Close to a lot of restaurants and the bus station. Huge apartment with everything you need. The host was also very helpful. The balcony with the view of the ocean and the sunset was the best

We booked a room with a balcony but we were given a room with a patio and no view which was really disappointing. There are a couple of rooms which look to be like this so worth checking before you go perhaps (ours was called Pelican). There is also a very bright light outside the room which was on all night and interrupted our sleep. No breakfast but places nearby and kitchenette included.

The location is good as a bit away from the busy area and therefore quiet. The bus stop is a 2 min walk away and comes frequently to take you down to the park/beach or just down the hill for different food options. Room was clean and big.

We booked two rooms and one of them had a broken bed. Once mentioned got fixed but the first night was rather unpleasant.

Very nice manager and team. Really great location and the little kitchen in the rooms were a nice touch. Would recommend.

Perfect accommodation (way better than average in the same area) surrounded by nature. If you are lucky, you may spot wild animals in the early morning. Emanuel is very helpful and friendly. He shared recommendations and pointed us to a tour that we eventually joined. We booked one extra night!

Great apartment with a kitted out kitchenette, fan and air con and a huge comfortable bed. Great setting surrounded by nature and in a quiet spot away from the main road but still super close to everything. The staff were great and welcoming and super helpful would definitely come back!

We had a nice and pretty big room with big facilities. Enormous bed and good wi-fi. We got a welcome gift - bananas. It's very sweet.

The refrigerator was small and took a while to get cold but we were able to make it work. The parking area was a bit tight and the curb a challenge with a low clearance vehicle. We were able to park on the street and had no issues. The host was going to address the little water issue with the kitchen sink.

We enjoyed our stay at Peace of Paradise. The host was welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious with a huge bed . We enjoyed the patio especially the visit from the Squirrel Monkeys one afternoon. It was quiet and the Air conditioning worked well. The location is very handy to the main road for catching a local bus and there are shops, restaurants really close by.Having a small kitchen to prepare food was nice and everything that we used worked.

Better than a hotel with the same comfort and cheaper. I will come back for sure next time I am in Costa Rica

The location was awesome. Really close to a lot of restaurants and a grocery store, yet you feel like you’re in the woods. We saw a sloth from our porch.

Everything, the location, the amazing staff, shout out especially to Jim and the exceptionally helpful Emanuel who helped organise my excursions and suffered my practising Spanish with him, Anna and her dog Toby, the mad cat! Really appreciated being able to make coffee in the morning and preparing light meals.

No curtain on kitchen window. Tight space around the bed.
