Great location, the rooms need TLC, old fixtures, falling apart. otherwise good stay between the city center and the Airport. Good swimming pool, outdoor space and breakfast. Near by grocery and good restaurants.

Booked this hotel room the night before as the hotel I was in had no window. Its a small basic hotel but has a nice outdoor seating area by the pool. The owner was very accommodating, gave me a late checkout.10 minutes from airport. Basic breakfast, had a great stay for the price.

There was not much human presence. The owner or manager was hard to find when I arrived and when I needed to leave and the gates were closed at 6:30am.

There was a pump or something in front of our room that kept 2 of us up the whole night. Rooms are ok but could use refershment, same goes for bathroom. All in all a fair stay but overpriced for what they offer.

Nice location, close to the airport, though you have to have a good gps to find it.Friendly staff, room fair, breakfast quite ok. We did not use the pool cause it wasn't warm enough.

The place can be a little difficult to find, but we had WAZE which made it rather easy. Girl who made and served breakfast needs a little more experience but it the end we were all satisfied.

We used this place as a stopover close to the airport. It provided for all or our needs: safe, comfortable, and a great place to stay for the night. Owners were extremely friendly and accommodating.

I really like this hotel. I don't have anything really that I didn't like. The power was out when we arrived, but that had nothing to do with the hotel, and the hotelier was happy to provide a lantern for our group.

Breakfast was basic, fruit salad, coffee, eggs, toast, and sausage. Room was large and adequate. The pool was a little cold, but all pools in San Jose are cold.

The hotel's owner told me that a check out wasn't necessary when I left the hotel. 7 days later they notified that one pillow was missing and tried to charge USD 15 from my credit card. I explained that nothing was stolen and they probably made a mistake when they checked the pillows quantity. Sorry, but I can't pay for something that I didn't and was so stressful to solve it.

Booking lists this hotel as having shuttle service from the airport. It does not - you will need a taxi (which they can book for you in advance)

A very warm welcome, helping me out with change for the taxi, and a lovely comfy room after a long flight to Costa Rica from the UK. I missed breakfast for leaving early but staff helped in booking taxis. A great place to be for being reasonably close to the airport, and pretty with it's pool and outdoor eating area.

very bad Wi-Fi compared to other hotels we stayed in the are. We were told that could only bring the air conditioning down to 21 as there was a problem with it. shower had little water pressure.

Wonderful place and wonderful and helpful staff. It's a great place to touch base from the airport before heading elsewhere in the country. It's clean, comfortable and the gardens are beautiful. I'm vegan and even though the staff didn't originally know much about that, they were able to accommodate me and provide a good breakfast. So happy to stay, thank you Anna Maria!

Beautiful garden /pool terrace area, perfect for relaxing after a long journey. Very convenient location for arriving into San Jose Airport. Also very close to bus stop for onward travel. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and most of all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Ana is friendly, interesting and very helpful!
