The lights on the A/Cs could not be turned off so we put something on it (not a big deal). The hot water in the shower was a bit hard to figure but it was hotter with less flow (warms up water on demand). For some unknown reasons the couch had a unpleasant smell. We had the first villa on the side of the road and it was quite noisy until 11:30pm. The motorcycles and sone cars were making a lot of noise. There could be more light in the kitchen at the dining table and especially warmer lights instead of those blue-toned white lights.

The rooms were comfortable and the A/C was great. We had a crib for our baby and the bunk bed + single bed were nice - our toddler had to choose where she could sleep. The 2 bedrooms were both a nice size and nicely equipped. The pool was awesome and we can see that the rest of the facilities were being built/under construction and it will look very nice! Close to « downtown ». Privacy and parking were great. Youtube and Netflix were available and wifi was great. Communication was great - we had answer almost immediately when I was sending messages on Booking.com. The self check-in was super easy.

Lots of construction going on. Workers arrived at 8am and were there all day. It rained the majority of the stay but it felt weird to use the pool with all the workers. Strong musty smell however it had just rained. Glass slider curtain was broken so couldn’t open it during the day.

Due to the humidity, the villa had a musty smell.

The host was very easy to communicate with. The villa was comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is great. We loved the pool. Saw howler monkeys and a toucan from the pool deck.

I would upgrade the couch as it is very soft and hard to sit on. The patio door is extremely hard to open - maybe a little WD40 on the track would help. Towels in the villa could be upgraded and a beach towel per guest provided. We loved the garden and would love to see some bird feeders to attract birds.

Nice property about a 3 minute drive away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. The Fortuna Waterfall was a 5 minute drive. The villa was comfortable and well stocked with dishes and dishes. The pool area was clean and nice to relax around and enjoy the gardens. It was nice to have a secure gate and there were restaurants and a grocery store, coffee shop just a 5 minute walk away.

Hot water in Master bathroom wasn’t reliable but I am sure it will be good in the future for others.

Locations is good if you have a car. Uber takes a while to get around. Make sure you have all the right info to gain access to the property as this was tricky at first. Overall it was good and the pool is a big bonus.

The coffee machine heated up the water, but did not make the coffee. Otherwise, we did not use the kitchen.

The host was beyond accommodating, helping us connect with someone who helped us to get laundry done! We only stayed one night, but it was comfortable, clean and a very nice location.

What a great place! Three location was amazing - really close to the La Fortuna Falls. There is a restaurant and a minimart in walking distance. The property is gorgeous. Lots of birds to admire and beautiful landscaping. We had lots of fun in the pool.

The pool was a bit dirty at times (though the heavy rainfall may have been to blame). A couple of things need to be updated in the suite, e.g. trouble opening some drawers/cabinets in kitchen, toilet seat being very loose, no Netflix/streaming on TV. This isn't a luxury accommodation but fantastic for price point.

We really liked the size and price of this property. It was great to have 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen for our family rather than being cramped in a hotel room. The pool was nice to lounge around once in a while. Though it wasn't walking distance to town, that didn't bother us because we had a car. By far, the biggest asset was Andrea. She was so lovely in giving recommendations and booking us tours and was responsive immediately over WhatsApp. We would happily recommend this property.

They sell the accommodation for 3 people, one need to sleep on a couch. This is very inconvenient and it’s only recommended to do if you want back and neck pain. There was 1 spoon, 2 forks and 2 knives. Not sure how 3 people can eat, we had to share the spoons. Electricity from the kitchen was not working, coffee maker was dirty. The sleep couch was very dirty and there was nothing to put over it. Won’t ever come back, not recommended.

They should pay more attention of the quality of cleaning the smell of humidity inside were so strong and also the quality of washed towels and sheets were very low, also the smell of the pillows were unacceptable that we couldn't use them.

There was some construction on the territory ongoing, much noise from morning till sunset. The toilet flush system did not work properly. When we inforned it, the service lady came to advise us to open the toilet tank's cover to get water manualy for flushing. I do not think it's normal practice for guests who paid not small amount for booking.

The host said she could get us a discount on activities but the price she quoted was about 20 US more per person, than if you booked directly, obviously trying to earn a bit extra on the side, we booked directly ourselves and saved ourselves about 80 US dollars. There was no hot water in the shower, host did send someone out but problem was not resolved, no apology or acknowledgment from host, I believe hot water didn’t work in the first place!!!

There wasn’t much to like, the decor was horrible, mis matched, bedding smelt as if it wasn’t washed. Wallpaper was peeling, bedrooms were small and felt like you were in a backpackers hostel, photos are misleading, the pool was tiny.
