It was all excellent.

Andres and Alejandra were friendly and helpful hosts and always there when you needed them. Communication with them to arrange arrival times etc was easy. The studio was very spacious, clean and had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. We particularly the liked the comfortable lounge area. The location is in a quiet area of the town with a good community feel about the area. The property is very secure - there is a bakery and cafe a minute's walk from the property and a large supermarket about 5 minutes' walk. The town centre is a short 10 minute walk away. We had a wonderful stay at Butterfly Apartments and would highly recommend it for your stay in La Fortuna.

There is just one apartment, so it's very private, and had plenty of room for 3 people. Quiet location, but close enough to town to walk. The entire space was super-clean, and had great air conditioning, wifi, coffee, sugar, salt, and everything we needed for cooking. Welcome book was very helpful and included personal recommendations for local sights, restaurants, and shopping nearby. There's safe parking right outside. Andrés was exceptionally kind and responsive!

Nothing. Just be aware that it is about 20 minutes walk from La Fortuna center, so the car is preferable

It is nice, clean, one bedroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Andrew, the owner, is really nice, friendly person. He speaks very good English. Just be sure that you have your cell phone on and let him know when you arrived. It is just two vacation apartments there and definitely he could not wait for you whole day

Andrés and his family were amazing host, super flexible and made sure we had a great time. The apartment was spotless with great attention to detail. The kitchen was really well equipped and the wifi super fast and reliable. We ran out of gas for cooking, and Andrés organised to stop by and swap out the gas bottle immediately - amazing service. Would highly recommend

The neighborhood can be a bit loud.

Its a very big (clean) room. It has a nice kitchen and good beds. The property is at walking distance to a bakery and supermarket. Close to the national parks (30 min drive) The host is very friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay in LaFortuna. Apartman was exactly like in the photos - very good size (two rooms, living room and kitchen), excellent wifi and very accommodating and helpful hosts (excellent pre-arrival communication and useful local travel tips). The apartment is in a nice and peaceful residential area just a bit outside the busy centre, a very easy walk to the main area.

Everything was lovely. Andres and Alejandra were welcoming and so helpful in getting checked in and with recommendations for places to eat. They always greeted us and asked if we needed anything. Alejandra showed us around the apartment when we arrived. The beds and couch were comfy and it was nice to have the extra space over a hotel room! The apartment is very clean and the outdoor space is beautiful. It's in a neighborhood an easy 10-15 min walk from the main part of town and only a few blocks from a supermarket.

I would recommend bringing ear plugs if you are sensitive to sounds in general ( you might hear some street noise) and eye mask, just to block a bit more sunlight (tho the room has nice curtains)

Apartment had everything you need for cooking, there was a TV in the living room and bathroom was ok. It is on a quiet street and I never felt unsafe. 15 min walking from the center of LA Fortuna, close by a Palm (supermarket). Hosts were kind and friendly, and they gave us nice recommendations.

air conditioning only in bedroom, but we used the fan to push air in the living room. no space to sit out outside but they are working on it now. hot water in the shower kind of difficult to operate but we managed. hot water in shower only so we boiled some water with kettle to wash dishes, it worked fine.

Hosts are very beautiful and helpful couple. Sometimes had answers before we asked them. Great suggestions for everything from hot springs,using local shuttle bus(cheap, clean convenient and reliable, restaurants etc. Very good super manado 2 blocks away.
