The walls to the room were very thin.

Perfect for a nights stopover, large room with a towel, plenty of bathrooms and access to a kitchen.

I was woken up in the middle of the night because I thought I heard very loud moaning sounds. I was quite tired so I fell asleep thinking I had imagined it. The next morning, my friend confirmed that the moaning indeed was quite loud and came from across the corridor. They have motion-sensing lights along the corridor. When the moaning was on, a lot of people kept walking towards that room. He couldn't sleep because of this disturbance. We can only imagine what was going on across the corridor. Maybe an orgy! I do believe that sex workers use this hotel or maybe they even shoot porn here. While I have absolutely no problem with this and I do not consider this to affect my safety, I would suggest that the the hotel segregate its sex work areas from the other rooms so that customers can sleep peacefully.

The room was just what we paid for. It was small with comfortable beds and a small, but clean bathroom. The location of the hotel is pretty central. Overall, good value for money!

The area is not good and the rooms are a bit noisy. It s a hr hotel, therefore the only purpose should be the location to catch a bus the day after. If you want to visit the city, do not recommend to stay in this location.

Good location if u have to stay overnight to catch a bus. The room was acceptably clean. The shower hot. The bathroom was ok. There are places to buy food till 10pm nearby. Haven't had any issue with the room.

the room was full of cockroaches and other insects, the bathroom was not very clean, the room was on top of the kitchen of the restaurant so there was a lot of noise from the extractor. Bed was super uncomfortable. The doorknob of the bathroom was broken so you couldn't close the door.

the location is really convenient if you want to be close to the Mepe bus station, like we were.

The mattress and pillows were so uncomfortable.

It was decent for a night, we stayed there because we needed to be near the 7-10 bus station to get to La Fortuna the next morning. It was clean and for the price it was what we expected.

It wasn't a problem for us , but it is about a 20 minute walk to the busy main centre of the city and the streets on the way at night don't feel completely safe. This might be an issue for a lone traveller.

It was very close to the bus station from Puerto Viejo. The staff were friendly and the room was basic but clean.

The apartment is in a shady area of San Jose and shall be chosen only in the case where somebody wants to use the public bases for an overnight stay. We used uber to go the bus terminal to avoid any possible issues by walking. This hotel also provides 2-4-8 hour stays which makes it super noisy at night and also the sound proofness is pretty bad. For its purpose it's OK to rest for a couple of hours.

The hotel is located near the bus station On the way from the airport for one night is the hotel sufficient If you are looking for luxury, I recommend choosing a hotel in a higher price category This hotel is for the unpretentious travelers everything was fine for me I’ll come back 😊
