The outdoor, the villas, the natural and modern mixed style was beautiful. the view was spectacular. The shower also had a beautiful view.

We had a car so it didn’t bother us but one is definitely required. The property is basically located in Mistico park near the reception which is up a 2km hill. Being so close to Mistico was great for many of our excursions however.

Amazing hotel. The views are mind blowing. The bathrooms are spectacular with a full glass wall overlooking the jungle. there are mesh windows above the glass windows allowing the sounds of the forest in, whilst keeping the critters of the forest out. The staff were great. Each day the rooms were cleaned and each day a different animal was made from the towels, a touch my girlfriend enjoyed. At night we fell asleep looking out of the enormous window, spotting fire flies. I’d definitely stay here again.

The location allows for stunning views and an immersive jungle experience. The staff was so kind and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I didn’t want to leave.

The only downside is that there isn’t much area to walk around the property.

The villa was completely private and away from all the other resorts. We got the best sleeps.

It was all a great experience, but it was a little tricky to find coming off the main roads. Since they don't have a restaurant onsite, you have to go across the street for a decent breakfast and to the hotel down the road for a good dinner, but if you are willing to venture you can go elsewhere.

The whole stay was fabulous! Helpful staff, clean rooms with the BEST views, and we felt safe the whole time we were there. It's perfect if you plan on exploring the rainforest or if you are only staying one or two nights.

Loved the location, at the border of the rainforest, waking up with animal sounds. Rooms had all facilities needed, comfortable bed and loved the balcony & view. A good place to unwind.

The fridge in our room didn't really work.

The cabins at Sangregado were incredible, with a view straight out over Arenal. You're right beside Mistico hanging bridges, so we were able to enter the park at 6am and explore it before it got busy. There isn't a restaurant/bar on-site, so you use one in a local resort. We walked there and it was fairly incredible to be surrounded by so many glow bugs. They offer a shuttle if you don't want to stumble around in the dark.

The mountain was covered with clouds. Ha, that was the worst part. Everything else was stellar.

Larry was super helpful. We were late to our arrival but he reached out and provided a phone number if we had any questions. He was friendly and able to use my name during our daily interactions. The view and wildlife were amazing.

there were no amenities in the evening that were within walking distance - without a car you had to rely on deliveries from nearby restaurants - it would have been nice if there was a bar onsite or a small shop

beautiful lodges, amazing setting, fantastic staff breakfast at the mystic restaurant across the road (hanging bridges) was lovely (not open in the evening) nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the lodge saw lots of gorgeous animals in there natural habitat from the balcony

It is a great location, facing Arenal volcano, which you can see in the morning if weather permits. Lot of privacy and fantastic service. Breakfast buffet included in Blue Hibiscus restaurant down the hill.

Our stay at Sangregado Lodge was exceptional. The room was clean and very comfortable. The view: phenomenal. We loved the location as well, as we felt removed from much of the tourism, in our own little private sanctuary.

we are family of 4 and we absolutely loved the place. Beautiful and modern villa with a fully equipped kitchen, separate living room and the bedroom as well as bathroom. Meanwhile, a few steps away from Mistico Hanging Bridges. Exceptional and attending receptionists helped us to reserve and book all our activities around. had a blast staying in a modern villa on the mid of jungle! Definitely recommend for families with kids!

We loved how it felt like a secret location, there were no signs or advertisements pointing people to the lodge. The room was exceptionally wonderful and the view/location was even more so. Breakfast was great, and the staff was super helpful and kind.
