The dorm room with 10 beds got very stuffy. The AC in my room was barely working and the old ceiling fan is very loud. Also, there isn't much extra space to store bags so the room got a little crowded at times. The area under/around my bed had not been cleaned in a while (visible crumbs/dust).

The beds are comfortable, the staff are helpful, and the other guests were super friendly. I really appreciated the welcome drink and bonfire, which was a great way to start meeting people. The hostel is well-decorated and fun!

We had issues as it rained in our bedroom and wifi didn't always reach. The WiFi issue got fixed but the rain in our room continued for a couple more days even though we got support from the first time we raised it

Selina La Fortuna is a proper quintessential Selina. Is a very good representative of the Selina brand. Very clean, and social. Easy to meet people and make friends. Staff was super helpful, especially with logistics, transportation and tours, Had a great time there, would definitely recommend.

Pricy for a hostel, but very nice and clean.

Nice "upper class" hostel with very nice common areas. It's easy to meet new people. For example the welcome drink is one of these organized opportunities to meet new people.

My 6 mix dorm was minuscule, and no curtains on the bunks. Since I had those at different Selina locations, it was expected. The ventilation of the room wasn’t great so it was smelly often time.

The hostel is very nice, with common kitchen, pool area, a co-work. Very central. Overall clean even if mosquitos tend to end their life in the bathroom sinks! The hostel organize many activities during the day, yoga, welcome drinks. The bar/restaurant is good! Pricey, but good and with a Happy hour.

there was no curtain across beds even though there was a rail for them. the room was over packed with beds, it was like a game of jenga you could even use some of the bed draws because of how beds were laid out. it never really felt clean even though I’m sure it was cleaned.

Nothing it was great, apart from the mosquitos!

Very friendly staff, helped us with booking our tours during the stay which were amazing. The bar/restaurant was really nice and loved the food and drinks offers they had. The tipi tent was cool too and I loved the overall relaxed vibe. They offered a great spa and massage treatment which was great!

The extra activities are at an additional cost that I felt was too expensive ($15 USD for yoga for example), and the tours offered also had a considerable mark up (you can get the tours for $20USD from external operators). The 10 bed dorm too was very crowded, they should not have squeezed so many beds in there. There was no space for big backpacks (except the floor) and no where to hang damp clothes so the room smelled and couldn’t really be cleaned properly. The aircon and toilet leaked too. Not what I’d expect for a more expensive hostel.

The rooms were very small. If you opened one cabin suitcase, there would be no place on the side of the bed. The room is meant for 2 people but felt extremely tight even for one person. Also, the place felt pricey compared to places in the area with the size of the room and no attached bathroom.

The facilities were awesome - outside sitting areas, library etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean.

It could have been slightly improved by curtains on the bunks considering the rooms are quite thin! And there are already curtain rails! Also the room didn’t have a mirror and the food/drink prices are a bit expensive.

The Selina was amazing. Communal kitchens, facilities, pool and staff were incredible.
